Re: Why did you checkraise?

Yeah dont really know what I was thikning about calling the flop and folding to the turn bet. I think I meant to say that I'd fold it to the flop c/r.

Re: online 20/40 black AA on a 887, 9 turn that also completes the flu

all these hands are calling your turn bet anyway though so your not really giving a card they wouldn't have taken anyway

Re: Blinds Battle at the Bell

I check behind on the turn intending to call a river bet. Its a WA/WB situation.

I dont mind the pf call b/c I assume you're raising the flop no matter what. Another line might be to call the...

Re: online 20/40 black AA on a 887, 9 turn that also completes the flush

I'd need a little more info than that to make this a good response but I doubt this is a fold. Villain could be c/ring the turn w/a pair + draw, 2 pair, or so on. I think you might want to check...

Re: Why did you checkraise?

I agree. Raising here forces your opponent to make a decision and your hand becomes very easy to play once that decision is made.

1) Your opponent folds - this is good

2) Your oppoennt 3bets -...

Re: SB defense holding AA

I think you played the hand fine on the pf and flop

How loose is bb? If he's loose I'd prolly try to bet/3bet the turn as CO will think you're fos and pop you. W/any luck you can also trap BB in...

Re: So who else was in the bellagio 15/30 this weekend?

didn't meet too many names I recognized but most could play. It seems that a lot of people know about this site even if they don't post often.

Re: 88 - I cold call

I'd just toss it on the turn. Your description of the cold callers as loose passive makes me dislike this raise. They will bet when checked to but this isn't a spot where they will be betting a...

So who else was in the bellagio 15/30 this weekend?

So I was playing the 15/30 over @ Bellagio and the game was juicy as hell. I met a few 2+2ers and had a good time. Was anyone else playing the game that I didn't meet up with?

Ya gotta start thinking about what your opponent thinks you might have. You raise pf, the flop comes A72r and you bet. He's gotta think you have an ace here and isn't calling down w/much less. The...

What hand do you think he has that plays this way? He's boated up or has your flush beat. I think you can make this fold correctly on the river

I like the river bet by itself, but I think the turn is much more interesting. I don't like it. Look at the board. All PPs are calling. All Aces are calling with the gutshot/overcard...

Re: when protecting the bb goes horribly wrong

1) I bet this on the flop and hope the pfr raises me. I'd rather get it HU w/him than 3 or 4 way

2) This is too broad a Q to ask. If the 3rd club hits I think you call but if a Q or 8 hits, I...

Re: QTs in the BB. Ugly River.

This line seems perfect for KQ as well as AQ, this is an EASY river call given the size of the pot. I also like going for a c/r on the flop b/c you've got a powerful hand and you can trap both...
