Re: Tough spot UTG short stack, deep in the 11r
I see most people have responded with a fold, but with an M of <5 about to go under 4 as u pass through the blinds. I think I'm leaning towards a push here. The table has been tight and to put 58K...

Re: Operation Extraction: Flop 2nd Set on AXX
Against an aggressive player like northerngent who i know is betting this flop I am most certainly chk/calling this flop and hoping a heart doesn't come off on the turn to kill my action. If the...

Re: AQo in BB
I think you played it fine and villain misplayed his hand if he did have a pair on the flop by letting you catch up unless he flopped a monster.

Re: AQ UTG+1 awful?
yes, awful. You have position and a strong hand. You can make a case here for flat calling or even reraising here and trying to take the lead as well as getting some information about strength of...

Re: AQo in BB
Was it a rainbow flop or suited here as the only draw that calls you would be a flush draw or a real loose call from an inside straight draw. I would generally fire another barrell here and lead out...

Re: Similar to HOH2 AA problem
I think its important to know how many chips the chipleaders actually had. If they are in the neighborhood of $200K, then I'm folding here as this is a sat. and not a reg. tourny and collecting...

Re: What do u do here?
I really think this is a very interesting hand here as I can't see any good player flat calling a 4x raise, a push for ~14BB, with anything other than AA's. The problem here is you have absolutely...

Re: Hands from a LAG #1
If i had any pair i would have called you on the river the way you played the hand getting almost 3-1 putting you on a busted draw and if you caught the Q then so be it.

Re: 40K blind battle
I would have put him all in PF especially if you're near the bubble with A high in the SB against a stack that can't knock you out and one that knows you don't play very aggressively.

Calculating your pot odds?
Can someone please give a good explanation of calculating your pot odds when deciding whether to call a bet. I'm having a debate with a friend and just want clarification. Thank you.

Re: 6-8 sooooooted
I call and push on any non spade turn or card that completes the straight. Villain may very well have a small to mid pair and is putting you on 2 overs w the A /images/graemlins/spade.gif or he...

Re: Tough Laydown......at least I think it was
I think the decision here is more about the original raise than Pet Monster's push. If OR had been raising quite a bit Pet Monster doesn't need a monster to make this play although I would assume...

Re: An AKo disagreement
I make it ~1800 and push any non AK flop if called. Your stack is at a point where you'll need to double through to make a run and I would be looking to do it right here. If he calls and folds on...

Re: CALL or FOLD
If Im the hero, I fold rather quickly. You already read villain as quite tight. He raises out of position giving everyone decent odds to call then pushes the flop on a very draw heavy board which...

Absolutely horrible and reckless to risk all your chips here with maybe 4 outs if the loose fish that you know nothing about calls here with QJ/KQ/flush draw or some other crappy hand that they feel...

Re: check-raised with TP3K
i lay it down here and move on as I can't see AT being the best hand here and expect the SB to have either top 2 or a set of 77's. You have plenty of chips to fight a better battle for all your...

Re: Tough AKo Hand £10k Guaranteed
If your read is that he makes a lot of very loose PF calls then think I have to put him in here since AK is way ahead of his PF calling range. If your read was he's a tricky player that will...

It's certainly either push or fold but calling is out of the question. I'm leaning towards folding here with your stack size and his. Against just about every other player at the table I'm all in...
