When DO you trust that voice in your head?
[/ QUOTE ]
When I've got a ginormous stack that can afford folding, not an M of 8. And when I have more evidence than "limper, tight...

Re: Bubble Play with KK
I'm sorry for not responding quicker, but this actually IS rather standard and boring. I'm sorry that you got bad beat, or ran into aces, or that everyone folded to your all in raise. I'm sure one of...

Re: Stars and Party 500k knockouts
fold to the raise in the first hand.
the second hand, you can probably fold preflop, but its not TOO horrible to just flat call until you get in the problem of pushing that flop.
After UTG+1...

Re: Two hands (Stars 45k)
Hand 1:
You really should have chceked in position here, hoping to pick up a better draw (turning that draw into an open ender, or add a flush). I really don't like c-betting with nothing against...

Re: Did I get max extraction?
"Did I get max extraction? "
Considering the only "raise" by hero I see is preflop and enver after you hit your set, no.
Considering you let him call the river getting 10 to 1 when he would...

Loosey Goosey
Hero's image is very, very, very loose. Hero's play is very, very, very loose. He is chipleader in a $10 PL hold em tourney, fairly deep in the money, but no steep payouts quite yet. Hero has kept...

Re: NEED HELP-11 players left in 20k tourney
i'm pushing this, but i'm probably called by Aces because i'd have already used up my allotted amount of pushes this far in the tourney on steals/resteals
but yea, i'd push, especially against the...

Re: Stud/8 Ante on Party (more basic questions)
You're right. The structure on party really sucks until you start playing 2/4. 2/4 and up is perfect in my experience (though I must admit that I have not played the 3/6 game much at all there).

Re: Did I get slowrolled here?
that's a sort of online semi-slowroll. though, it was done before the showdown of hands.
if he had been the caller, it would be closer to a "true" slow roll, but this is still a pretty douchey...

I also had tons I wanted, but can't think of anything right now.
Your two ideas are pretty clutch though. Particularly the timebank.

Re: Stars10+1/Interesting hand
you need to raise this hand sometime before the river if you intend on staying in. instinct tells me i raise the turn, but the flop looks like a better place to do it.

Re: Overplaying AA?
you'll save yourself a lot of money (or rather, pick up a lot more money) if you stop worrying about flush and straight draws when you're heads up around this level and later on.
