Re: I value call my nuts?
I like the flop call, but I would 3bet it when it gets back to me as well. You have a huge edge against this many ppl with 14 outs, make them pay.
Turn call seems fine considering the way you...

Re: 3/6: Call-CR Blind Defense with AQ
I wouldnt be too happy when he raises the turn. You capped the flop and he still isnt slowing down. I guess he could have KQ, but there isnt much else that we can beat. I wouldve called down after...

Re: Easy turn check?
I would usually bet, but I dont play 5/10. I have people calling me with no real draws all the time and want to charge them when I have the best hand. With that aggression factor I would assume hes...

Re: erm river help please
Agreed, 3bet = bad for all the reasons already explained.
Just calling the river seems fine as well, maybe sb will overcall.
I think I just played a session with you earlier. I was Blunderfull....

Re: More $0.50/1 6-max or $1/2 full?
I thought 1/2 full was a big difference compared to .5/1. People were alot tighter, but maybe I was playing at a time with lots of rocks. I didnt play that much 1/2 full. I find 6 max more fun and...

Re: those damn turn raises
Quick and easy fold. Like stated before, i cant think of much that would call the flop and raise the turn that you are ahead of.

How far should I go with this?
BB just sat down so no read. CO is 75/9/.3 so Im not too concerned about him. Seen him call down with much worse and wanted to punish him on the turn.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)...

Re: Big pot, tough river
I wanted to call down, but I fear its going to get capped or at least 3 bet. You gotta fold even though the pot is huge.

Re: I dont Check-Raise enough?
Are you sure you dont get value out of it? I would think that big suited cards with 3 limps would have enough value to raise. c/r this flop would be bad because you were the pf raiser. theres no way...

Re: Plan to milk with flopped str8
The pot is small so a slowplay is ehhhh, but that is a terrible turn. I cant see how your going to get action by betting. You might be better off hoping CO bets again.

Re: Can I wait till river to c/r?
I was thinking about waiting til the turn to raise the turn, but a flop c/r looks better now that I really think about it.
Lets say we wait til the turn to raise, the turn is a spade. Should we...

Re: AK oop vs TAG; turn plan?
i was thinking fire away at first, but given the read I want to check. He could have a flush draw, but a pocket pair is likely as well. Now Im thinking I have to fire away. If raised its an easy...

Re: QQ line check
I like a turn donk bet as well. You may have a beat with your higher two pair. I could easily see him showing 77-TT on the river. If he raises just call down.

Extremely loose table with Big PP
Alright, there are 5 limpers to you on the button. You have QQ or JJ. What do you do?
I heard that possibly just calling and waiting to raise when someone bets into you is a decent play, but I find...

Re: AKo in a tough spot on the FLOP
I think Im folding.
First off, I hate the CO cap so I either have the same hand as him or he has me beat on the flop. If he has AA-JJ, then he has me hurt on the flop and will almost certainly be...

Re: General HE forum required reading
Good point greg, I dont autofold my marginal hands in middle to late postions. I often find myself having little conversations with myself when I play online. Such as, I want to see 3 limpers to me...

Great post. It was very interesting to me and probably others as well. I think its also important to define tilt, considering how much talk there was about it in this post. There are some great posts...

Re: Do most winning players start out weak-tight?
I saw an article relating to this one time. I cant remember where it was, but the first thing people figure out is the tight part of poker. You cant just be playing every hand and expect to win, long...

Re: party 1/2 full questions
1/2 full was difficult for me when I moved up from .5/1. Players are way tighter and better. I would go up 50 BB, then down 50 for a long time. So after about 25 hours of this. I decided to take a...
