In response to the debate on the SB hand...
I think the lack of position is actually the reason to 3-bet rather than CC here...By taking charge of the hand PF, your continuation bet on the flop...

Re: I\'m a real enthusiast!
As everyone has posted so far, you're way overthinking this hand. Even if all 6 of your outs are good (which is dubious at best) you need ~8:1 to continue. In a bigger multiway pot with backdoor...

Re: how much do u make?
For what it's worth, about $17K this year making 2BB/100-ish at 1/2 and 2/4 with some liberal bonus whoring thrown in (actually bonuses probably made up 2/3 of that total). Hoping to grow the...

Re: AA on an ugly board
Hmmm...you're behind just about all capping hands except something like AK (you said CO was tricky, not a maniac, so I assume a fairly normal range here). I'm not thrilled about what the tight UTG+1...

Re: Amazing fish
The other day I sat to the right of one player whose play was so formulaic and bad that I openly speculated that he was a badly-written bot (he eventually replied in broken English that this wasn't...

Re: Image Problems: 88 MP
I like it. Button hasn't shown postflop that he has anything better than unimproved overcards, and if your image is LAGgy right now, he'll certainly pay you off on the river with AK. And if he has...

Re: PF questions
The ATo I'll usually raise without a second thought.
As for the suited hands, I'd probably open-limp unless I thought there was a huge chance of a raise behind me, in which case I toss them. I...

Re: Blind steal with 88: this look OK?
Thanks all for the replies...Villain did indeed turn over an unimproved AK, so I wouldn't have been surprised if he donated one more bet on the river. The Q was scary enough for me to wuss out,...

Blind steal with 88: this look OK?
Villain is about 25/20/3.75 over limited hands FWIW.

Re: T8s gets there
I also like a bet-call on the river. I think you just can't take the chance he'll wimp out and check behind (possibly expecting a check-raise from you)...you did say he slows down on later streets,...

Two newly scrabble-legal words are "za" and "qi". This is silly. That's all I have to say.

Re: randomized scrabble
Interesting. I think if the point values were randomized, someone with a more well-rounded knowlege of the official word list would fare better than the typical mid-level player that might memorize...

At first glance over the action, I was surprised to see you fold the river. Are you really losing 96.5% of the time here?
