You should be betting more on draw heavy flops with A-high so you can protect your hand when you have a real hand. A half pot flop bet on K83r is fine but not on T96 suited.

Exactly that is my question. Do we assume one pair, two pair or a set based on $30 turn bet or is this to player dependant to determine. I had no read on the villian at the time of the hand.

I think a set has to protect his hand either on the flop or turn. I doubt a set is just calling down on a three flush...

Villain views me as a tight TAG, but the button who raised was extremely tight with a short stack, so that narrowed my range further to most likely a big pair.

You are right I should have check raised the turn all-in or check called the river if he checked the turn behind me. I think he puts me on AA and wouldn't push KK or another pair. I thought he had...

I don't think he calls the turn with JJ. Maybe if he had the jack of spades. I felt like he was drawing at me with the lone A of spades. He knew I had a huge hand.
