Re: Ed Miller, overpairs and paying off
well i am not speaking for Ed of course but i don't think that is right. I think you have to always take the board and the actions of other players into account. You can never say "always" call to...

Re: amazon sales ranks
Now that Sklansky beat the other authors on tv, the bucks should really start rolling in. Now he needs to appear on ESPN's Tilt. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: throw crappy top pair away?
[ QUOTE ]
45/6 = 7.5
The turn is a call.
[/ QUOTE ]
I am not commenting on the hand but wouldn't 6 outs on the turn be 40 to 6 or 6.7 to 1?

Re: This is the one I really want answered
I will let others reply since I asked the question but I will agree with you that I had a good chance of having the best hand at that moment. My concern was with a bet and call in front, and 5 more...

Re: How about this crying call?
the SB was laggy (should have put that in the post). I guess the pot just looked really huge and I didn't want to have 3 river folds hand it to him. normally i would fold here.
I see what you...

Re: Anything off base in this hand?
Uh oh, If I have 7 outs and there are 46 unknowns that means its 39-7 against me hitting an out, so that is 5.5-1 right? that would make it an even easier call.

Honesty, at this point I think my biggest leak is simply sitting down at the table to play. I'm sure I must be doing some things wrong. However, there's little doubt in my mind my pre-flop...

Re: Can someone explain a \"Spread\" game?
spread limit means you can bet any amount within the limit. so if it is $2-$6, you can bet as little as $2 and as much as $6.
Or if the context is someone says a game is spread at a particular...
