NYPC Tourney Buy-in on Thursdays?

Hey, I want to play tonight, and I know they recently changed their tourney schedule. Is tonight's tourney a $60 no-rebuy?

Thanks,

Chris

Hey guys, I'm going to be at Mandalay Bay from 1.28-1.31 and I was hoping to find a tournament schedule somewhere online. Is there a site that has the schedules for all the casinos?

Thanks! Feel...

Re: 2 Hands -- Live Multi at the Players Club in NYC

You're right, there's is a terrible structure. You're wrong though, when you say that these tourneys can be fun -- it's either all-in or fold on almost every single hand...

Remember that...

I need help keeping better records...

Hi,

I've probably played thousands of SnGs on Party, but I haven't kept a single record of my performance... The only indicator is my overall +/- since I started playing online a few months ago. ...

Re: 3-Table Multis on Party (several questions)

a) I've played 3 $20 PL Tourneys and won (1st) 1, finishing out of the money the other 2 times. I've played one $30NL 3-table, and come in first. (small sample, I know).

b) I don't like playing...

3-Table Multis on Party (several questions)

Hey 2+2ers,

I do not claim to be much of a mathematician or statistician, but I've got some lingering 3-table Multi questions that I'm sure some of you have already answered...

Is the payout...

Re: Making the leap to MTTs from SnGs (a multitude of Questions)

I guess I'm going to stick to my bread and butter for a little while, maybe try and build my bankroll up and hit the $30 mtts more.

From playing with you in person, I've noticed that you're very...

Re: Stealing Blinds Repeatedly

Wait. So you wanted a call with your A6? My point was if your 6th all-in was a better hand I'd feel more comfortable, because you're going to get more people considering a call each time.

But...

Re: Stealing Blinds Repeatedly

IMHO, I think going all-in with A6 was definitely pushing your luck. Yesterday, I was playing in a tourney, sitting just to the left of a maniac (or maybe genius) and he was stealing blinds on...

Re: Making the leap to MTTs from SnGs (a multitude of Questions)

I think that I was relatively happy with my 31st - which was about $150 in a $30+3 multi, but the reason why I wasn't happier is because the bulk of my stack came from two or three monsters that I...

Re: Making the leap to MTTs from SnGs (a multitude of Questions)

I certainly did not mean to imply that I thought I would place ITM 25% of the time, rather I was saying that my 31st finish scares me away from playing in more MTTs.

Thanks to all for the good...

Making the leap to MTTs from SnGs (a multitude of Questions)

Gang,

Online I am a fairly decent SnG player, consistently winning for the last few months. I'm having trouble making my way to MTTs, and doing well. I've played in about 4, only ITM once (31st...
