Re: I\'m moving down (LC)
i think you can play these better--
1)raise less w/ AJ, fold flop
2)fold river
3)i often like to raise that flop to get $ out of AK

Re: Preflop: raise aces gets reraised, what now?
I really only like calling if i can confidently narrow his hand range to AK, QQ, KK. Then get $ in on the flop, as others have said. But I don't trap enough...Does the fact that he just sat down...

Re: QQ NL 1K
Since reasonable club draws can include overcards, I basically never check this turn...I think folding to the CR is fine/std, but during the hand I didn't think he'd flopped a set.

I think a lot of cards can kill action for the...

QQ NL 1K
Villain is unknown. Haven't seen him step out of line, or play many pots yet. I've also been playing fairly abc, doubled up with a set of 4s a few hands earlier.

Seems like your turn play is -EV then, as apart from a 6 or maybe a 7, nothing else is going to allow to you win the hand.

Re: Another sanity check 5/10
Let's assume he has the straight every time. If you push (not necessarily optimal) EV= .35(650+785)-.65(950)= -115
So if he has the straight, moving in is -EV, but not by so much. IF he will call...
