Re: Newbie PLO question - Do I fold the nuts here?
I disagree.
You should not assume the freeroll (since I think set+flush is reasonably probable here). You should weigh
1. Set+flush => smallish -EV
2. Freeroll or strong domination => large +EV...

Re: Newbie PLO question - Do I fold the nuts here?
You are right that the straight is somewhat vulnerable here, but you should not underestimate your hand.
You are ahead of every probable hand except set + better flush draw (A freerolling straight...

Re: QQ on Interesting Turn
This all depends on what MP2 have. Since he was pushing all in he may not need a very strong hand. But he probably has at least two pair.
Alternative holdings:
1. The straight. We have three...

Re: Drawing for outs on the flop?
Ok, I see where you are coming from. In situations like this we do not need pot odds that are immediately favorable if we can count on
1. High implied odds (the opponent is loose and will often pay...

Re: 10/20 AKo gets lrr
In my experience, a lrr is virtually always a big PP. Especially from a weak player. In that case we are WA/WB here.
I would probably call down all the way from the flop, since I do not want him...

Re: Drawing for outs on the flop?
What? You have nothing but a gutshot (no straight without a 9) and some backdoor flush and runner runner draw possibilities.
What are your thoughts here?

I would 3 bet the flop here. There are just too many opponents to get bets from. Also, there are too many scare cards that can come on the turn that will make you hesitant to raise.

Re: Textbook wait for turn in huge pot?
I disagree with the posters that prefer to wait for the turn, and think you should definitely raise the flop.
Yes, you miss the chance to fold out the gutshots, but I would not expect these hands...

Fold the flop and turn. You have only six good outs that often is just to a split and even if you hit on the turn there will often be a huge amount of possible redraws (assuming anyone else sees the...

Do you have a read on BB? I have a hard time seeing what kind of hand he has. If he has a set or straight I would expect him going for the c/r the vast majority of the time. If I had to guess I think...

If the only read we have is "really bad" I like to bet. I think a c/c with a weaker hand is much more common than a c/r or a stronger hand going for c/c. The only close question for me would if it is...

Re: 30-60 party --- folded the winning hand
Since this is such a bluff friendly flop, I would probably call and see the turn action. But if the SB still runs the turn semi bluff and UTG calls I would drop, so maybe my line would just lose 1 SB...
