and then go on to post a hand and ask for advice.

look at it from his perspective...the queen on the river makes it seem less likely you have one...making him more likely to call with 99, which is what he probably has.

how much is in the pot on the turn?
you say he raised preflop but you give no indication as to how big the raise was...or for that matter if its his standard raise or his preflop raising...
