Re: UB 150k anyone?
Busted out mid-30's. I was medium to short stacked the whole tourney and the smallest stack at bubble time (70th). I just tried to keep moving up and picking my best spots to get all in. Finally...

Re: Interesting satellite bubble hand
There are no formulas. Saying that first-in vigorish is the most important part of this isn't really thinking IMO. In these situations, it is quite possible that none of the big stacks will let him...

Re: no limit games so i play no-limit
Looks ok to me. I probably put in the big checkraise on the flop instead of the turn. But taking it from the turn, I do the same as you.
Edit: and there is nothing wrong with completing in the sb...

do you fold AA if you're utg+1?

I think Sirio11 did an analysis of a similar situation in a PCA satellite and found that there is a greater chance of one of the small...

Re: Interesting satellite bubble hand
it is a tough situation. the min raise by utg+1 is a bad play regardless of his cards. chip stacks started off at 1k, so there are 94k in play and "average" is 9400. He is just under the average. he...

Re: Am I a donkey?
It is really important to have been watching the players. You get a very wide range of play in these 180 person tourneys. In some cases it is correct to get it all in with your QQ in this situation...

A masterful play by Sirio11
This was from a couple of weeks ago in the FullTilt 60K guaranteed. I don't know if this rises to the standard of "Masterful" by many of you, but I was quite tickled by it.
Sirio raises pf w/AJs...

Re: AQ top pair of Q, s/f draws on turn
Take my advice with a grain of salt. I have plenty of deficiencies in my own game. Nevertheless, I'll take a stab at this.
Preflop: fine
Flop: Pot is $2.10 before villan bets. Villan makes a...

Who are the PokerStars NL200 players from here?
Over the last few weeks I've kind of settled on the Stars NL200 as my "home game". I'll go up to NL400 or down to NL100 if a table looks right.
I am a mediocre player looking to improve. I'm...

Without reads I do not fold in this situation. Folding here really tells me that you are playing a game to is too big for your bankroll.
Regarding the "never fold Kings preflop" statement. I don't...

From people who have more experience with $1/$2 online...what does this bet typically mean?
