Is Full Tilt the worst site for Suckouts?
I say yes.
I have played at most of the major sites on different platforms (both Mac and PC) and Full Tilt seems to have a strangley consistent level of suckouts on the river, variance doesn't seem...

Re: Flop a joint, river pairs board
[ QUOTE ]
Have you played on stars at 200nl or above? I have. You're thinking is quite backwards for this level. Most people understand the basics of the game. They understand draw heavy boards and...

Re: Flop a joint, river pairs board
:grunching:
I believe I would bet for value. 1/2 pot sized would be my tendancy. Not too much so as not to scare them off. I would be hoping they would call. A re-raise would bother me though I...

Re: I like Phil Hellmuth
I saw a little of this the other night but I wasn't sure which tourney they were showing, was it the main event? Did Phil get knocked out when he was crying to his wife, cuz I thought she was saying...

Re: KK hand in SB - 25 NL, good sized pot.
Didn't my plan work out to perfection (until the river diamond /images/graemlins/tongue.gif) though? I got two players to put (essentially) all their money in, and I had the best hand (at the time)....

What do you mean you can "outplay" a field of donks with an unimproved over pair OOP? The way to get these guys money is making a real raise, expect 2 callers, and there won't be many...

Re: Wanted: a better mousetrap for $25 NL
I am blown away by these stats in that I am an "Eagle" in small limit (2/4) and just started dipping my toe into NL Cash games. I've done pretty well at limit, so I decided to move towards NL and...

KK hand in SB - 25 NL, good sized pot.
2nd orbit where everyone but me is playing nearly every hand. I just won a hand out of the BB with A, 10 off with a half sized pot bet on the flop.
PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed)...

Re: Too aggressive with ATo?
I think the bet on the flop was ok, try to isolate one or the other, with two postflop callers I would slow down unimproved.
I would put both of them on a middle pair with this type of action. Maybe...

I think it looks fine, when you got check raised you should have slowed down, and did. What could Villain have UTG here that woke him up on the turn? I would think maybe a flush draw?...
