Re: AA, 4th suits hits the river

For folding here to be correct he has to have the spade here 87% of the time. Given an AF of 0.85 I am leaning towards folding but I would appreciate if the statement ".84 AF isn't that...

Re: Post Flop Aggression--SSHE pp 96-97
One thing to remember is poker is all about pot odds and equity. With the exact same cards, a raise may be incorrect in a 10 sb pot but correct in a larger pot.

Re: Simple 77 HU hand.
Well, he's representing trips or a full house. That's pretty unambiguous. So it's a question of whether or not he's bluffing often enough for a call down to be worthwhile. From his stats, he's pretty...

Re: PF Stuff
In both cases, we have a good TAG in lp isolating a superfish. Let's establish a range for him. I'm thinking most (all?) pocket pairs, the stronger offsuit aces, most (all?) suited aces, pretty much...

Re: 10/20 KJ play along
Interesting. That's a very dry board. I like a check and see what develops. If the TAG bets and there are at least a couple of callers, I want to checkraise. If one of the loose-passives raise, I may...

Re: 5/10: 88
I'm going to parrot toss's advice again and say check and fold. He seems aggressive pre-flop, but you raised UTG, so his 3-betting range shouldn't be all that large. You're too much of a dog to his...

Re: 5/10: A7s
I'd just go ahead and 3-bet the turn. I like to save river slowplay checkraises (as opposed to hands where I improve on the river) for when I suspect the villain may fold to straightforward...

Re: I am the biggest fish on Party.
For starters, I'd raise pre-flop. I don't always raise AQo in the blinds, but you're only against two limpers, one of which is super-loose. So this looks like a good spot to push your probable equity...

Raising the turn vs. Raising the river in Hand 2
I see some disagreement here, so I'm going to spell why I like waiting until the river to raise in Hand 2.
Assumption 1: The villain is loose enough and aggressive enough that we're still a...

1. Perfect. I love every street. You could fold the turn against some kinds of bad players, but you're giving up too much to fold without the right read. Since you can't fold, a raise is very good....
