Re: Bankroll for Party $2k PLO
From memories of previous threads on this subject something between 30 and 60 buy-ins. (or $2 million if you are Big Dave D /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Re: learning PLO8--400 hand
[ QUOTE ]
I'm new to this game, but I'm fairly certain this quote is wrong. I don't think you should be making large raises pre-flop in EP with any hand in a full game, and you especially...

Re: A middle set hand
I wasn't ruling out that original bettor has QQ, just I didn't think it very likely. And yes, I should just push in on the turn, as looks very likely I am ahead but vulnerable

Re: A middle set hand
Yep, I think that I should just put the lot in on the turn. And also that having bet the way I did, I should have put the rest in on the river as there is always the chance of getting paid off by...

A middle set hand
I thought about this hand and I'm not convinced I'm doing the right things here. It also made me think about numerous other hands I've played like this but never seem to feel comfortable. Anyone...

Re: Who doesn\'t go broke with this hand
Not saying I wouldn't bust here, but why not just bet the flop. He probably doesn't have much, but will likely play back with a 9, and may well make a move with some other hands. Betting will also...

Re: NL HU hand
Hi sirio,
In answer to the question, I'm sure it's a better option to raise to ~400 than go all-in. Basically it will have the same effect (eg make me fold most of the time) but without risking...

Re: NL HU hand
Hi,
Being the opponent in the hand, I think my actions are fine. However, if I'd held your hand I'm not sure what I'd have done.
I may have bet the flop as you did, or gone for a c/r on the...

Re: Hourly rate in online Omaha H/L
What about Pot Limit? What would be a decent return in terms of BB/100? And how much table time do I need to decide whether or not I am getting anywhere - 100 hours or more like 1000?
Cheers

Re: Pokerstars $50 PLO hand from today
You have an excellent hand with position, a preflop raise appears to be in order.
It's a decent looking flop but I'm not ecstatic about it. with 3 players in before it gets to you, a fair shout...
