Re: 2/5 Live hand against good LAG

[ QUOTE ]
Things become much easier if you don't raise preflop.

Re: AK Help

Why in the world do you check the turn here? Opponent has shown no strength, he can easily be on the str8 draw or a worse pair./../ Checking seems to just telegraph weakness and let you...

Re: AK Help

Check the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]

Although I generally feel that this is overused on this forum, in this hand I agree.

Re: Boring QQ hand against a nemesis.

Obv not a blocking bet since he is last to act. he is not getting checkraised here very often but it's a clear fold then.

Re: Are you called a fish?

I think just about everyone playing poker on the internet gets called fish pretty frequently. That's because people are rude bastards.

Re: Live 2/5 98s

I think you get more value by betting this river, about half pot. You can safely fold to a raise.

Re: 2/4 mega draw....standard?

You really aren't maximizing fold equity by pushing the turn either, villain vill call with his overpair unless he is a total pussy.

Re: 10/20, 8-8 against loose aggressive 3 bettor

Sounds like you should have capped it preflop.

Once I see this flop against this player there is just about no way of stopping me from showing this down.

Re: QJs > Nuts > Action

I think your line is fine, I really don't think you get more value out of just calling the turn, and you risk losing the pot.

Re: Do I fold AA on this flop with this action?

$28 is a fine number. Would make the flop decision very easy. I still call this.

Re: OT: Merry Christmas Medium Stakes Forum!!!

Maybe this is a good thread to show my appreciation to this forum. The split has been very good to us mid-stakes posters.

This is a fold by default. You haven't given enough information to change this.

Weird as hell. I'd like to believe I'd send back the 1200, but you certainly aren't obligated to do so.

Not linked to party, only appears to be same blinds, it's really 1/2, 2/4 etc.

A good hand to bust myself with

2/4 NLSat down a few orbits ago. It's five-handed and a pretty bad table. Everyone seems to be sorta TAGgish, maybe not good but not obviously clueless. Villain seems fairly aggressive, not sure yet...
