Re: $22 - TPTK behind check-raise
So you're folding to KQ here? I think the AQ is in pretty good shape against that holding. As for myself, i love SNGs where people commit their stacks with second best hands because they can't...

Re: Curtains hand 1: boring pre-flop question
I play as tight as the next guy early on. However, in the 800 chip SNGs I still very confident even if I'm around 600 chips. If I raise a few preflop and whiff then so be it. I love suited broadway...

Re: Curtains hand 1: boring pre-flop question
QJs is a very playable hand, especially in late position. Don't be afraid to get a few chips in the middle. If you whiff the flop and get bet into or checkraised be willing to let it go if necessary.

Re: 100+15 at the Mirage
If you cash you should tip them. I was going to ask what the standard amount was if it became an issue...
In all fairness, I did inform the table early on it was my first time playing live and...

Re: $22 99 Hand
Less calling/checking. More betting/raising. As long as you can beat their top pair on board keep the initiative. If they resist, you know it may be time to let it go. IMO, checking and calling isn't...

100+15 at the Mirage
Hey everyone, I decided it was time for me to stop lurking and start posting. This marks my first actual post... Hopefully this isn't off topic even though it took place in a B&M casino. I apologize...

Re: Late in a $3r, AJo in BB.
I definitely call the preflop raise.
If he's min-raising AQ/KQ/KJ here you are right, that flop missed him. I don't mind c/r his flop bet for information... as long as he folds. If he calls,...

Re: Passive AK PP 109
A fine line. Perhaps raise his flop bet as the others have said. Sometimes calling is fine if you're mixing things up. Hopefully villain calls and flips over JJ/QQ or AQ/AJ and YHIG.
Edit: I had...

Re: TPTK on monochrome board
Betgo, I'd be interested to see why no raise preflop. I understand A10s isn't the best hand in the world HU while it does in fact play well in multiway pots. Having said that, I still don't...

Re: AK at a Party 22
Depending on my mood here I alternate between shoving and just calling and taking a flop. Since this hand is in a vacuum and I have no reads on the villain(s) I imagine I would take a flop. I put...
