Re: Thinking While Playing (LC)

Re: Will this solve my problem?
Go to the task manager. Click on the Processes tab. Right-click on Ptrack2.exe and go to Set Priority. Click on BelowNormal. This will make PT import a little slower, but it also stops it from...

Re: Will this solve my problem?
If you don't already, you sould try running pokertracker on "belownormal" priority. I'm only running on a 1.25 processor, and this allows me to 8-table w/ PT and PV and no slowdowns. The only thing...

Stars Lobby
This might be obvious, but I don't see it. Is there any way to filter the Stars lobby? I don't want to see running or completed tournaments, or anything that costs FPPs to play. And I don't want...

Re: Worst TV plays ever
No, he just gets aggressive a little early for my taste. Nothing wrong with pushing to steal the blinds.
What I was really saying was that D'Agostino's call was bad. I could see it against a...

Re: partypoker HH changes?
If you're referring to the changes from a few weeks ago, there is a pokertracker patch for the issue. I think also deleting the word "Texas" from the HH does the trick. That might work even if it...

Re: Dial- up
I use it as a backup and have 8-tabled. I get a little more lag, but it's not bad. My only issue is remembering to click something in the ISP's browser so it doesn't decide that I'm inactive and...

Re: backing up my HHs
Raid is serious overkill for a bunch of text files. I'd go with a zipped file saved to a CD and sent to a Gmail account.

I play on an older computer and have to set the ptrack2.exe to the below normal priority to avoid slowdowns. Once I do this, though, everything works fine.

Re: 1 year pro anniversary
Pokertracker only checks hand histories in your inbox. You can create an Old Hand History folder and move them over to there without slowing down imports.
