Re: WSOP Audio Updates/Interviews

I don't really know what PodCasting is either, so if you aren't using an Ipod to listen, just think of it as audio/MP3 updates which you can get straight off the web.

Anyone looking for a seat in Full Tilt $100+9 tomorrow?

Short version of story, my buddy played the wrong satellite and won a seat to a tournament he can't play tomorrow, the Full Tilt $50k.

He wants to just drain his account, temporarily change the...

Full Tilt...Deep Pockets?

The $50K guarantee tournament only had 400 players last week, again falling short of the guarantee. I was talking to a friend about it, and he said with 400, they really aren't losing much money. ...

Re: What is EV of top players in WSOP $10K?

"Pros once had a large advantage in the WSOP before Internet poker and the WPT, because NL live games were almost non-existent then and so the few people who really knew how to play deep money NL...

What is EV of top players in WSOP $10K?

I've seen Full Tilt's new promotion to give away pieces of their pros for the top finishers in their weekly Saturday tournament.

I've seen the figure range from 2x to 10x the buy-in as the EV of...

Re: Insane WSOP Full Tilt Promotion

To answer my own question, this was on RGP:

"In the $50K Guarantee next weekend, the winner will get 10% of John Juanda, and everyone else at the final table will get 1% of John."

Re: Insane WSOP Full Tilt Promotion

That sounds really cool, being able...

Re: Choosing between guaranteed tourneys on Full Tilt

I realize you said it was a time issue, but another option might be to plan on buying in to the $100 and play 4 satellites at $25 each for the $200. If you win a satellite, just play the $200, and...

Re: Full Tilt

Yeah, I think you get 7 Points for every dollar of Juice, and every Point clears .06 of your bonus, so essentially 42% rakeback.

Because...

Re: Guarantee Tournaments -- What\'s in it for the site?

"Even if the tourney players stick around for the whole day and generate a lot of rake, it seems unlikely that it will add up to $50K."

I was wondering the same thing. There were maybe 500-600...
