Re: Do my nuts taste salty? 50/100 UB 6 max
I also dont think they call 2 streets with a flush draw...
if they're gonna be in there with a flush draw..theyre gonna raise it either on flop or turn.
And i think a hand like KJ is gonna raise,...

I like the way you played this hand. I dont like the CR allin here. He is most likely on a draw here like you did and you controlled the action. nh

Re: Do my nuts taste salty? 50/100 UB 6 max
I like the flop bet .
How about a turn c/r allin??
I will often check this turn, with the intention of checkraising all-in.
If he checks after, you get a free card,
If he bets, and you shove, it...

Re: Quads obv
I dont think JJ/QQ shuts down that easy...
99/TT might, but thats about it.
If the turn is a flush card..it kills ur action...so does the 8 that came.
Get the money in when you can do so easily.....

Re: Quads obv
Just because he has flopped a monster doesnt mean he has to slowplay it,
It is extremely difficult to put him on a big hand on such a flop.
Villain doesnt put hero on a 2, and raising with an 8...

Re: Quads obv
I think flop raise, turn push is probably the best way to get money in there.
He will be salivating to get his money in on that flop with a big pair.
Very hard for him to put u on a monster on that...

Re: Top Set, can calling the flop look weak?
If he has nothing(AK)etc. then he isnt calling anything...on the other hand if he does have an overpair, he might well checkraise allin if you pot it. On the other hand with your small bet , i think...

Re: Party 10-20 NL bluff
Very opponent dependent.
I hate giving up my blinds and KQs is def a hand i defend with.
If he has been doing this a lot(blind stealing) i would reraise pf with KQs.
Given that u just called pf,...

Re: 10-20 NL Hand
I really dont like a passive line oop,
A 3 bet on the flop or CR on flop is prolly i would do.

Re: 10-20 NL Hand
I dont mind a 3 bet once in a while in such a scenario, he could put you on high cards and think his 88 or so i good on the flop.
A 3 bet on the flop slows him down without a monster and he actually...
