KQs vs. turn raise...
Villain is 35/5/1.2 in about 100 hands, generally seems pretty sane in the orbit or two he's been around.

Re: AQ OOP vs. unknown
[ QUOTE ]
Since we made it to the river I think we have to check-fold here. Your average player at 3/6 is on the passive side, and he's not betting A-hi here very often at all. Indeed, there are...

44 from the BB -- standard?
Seems hands like this always give me trouble.
SB is 25/15/4 over 1600 hands. Button is 51/9/1.5 over 600, and way too loose postflop.

Re: 94o BB special, turn/river play
I'm not sure how much that line is spewing, but here's my thought process through the hand.
Flop: I have a 1-card OESD with a weak overcard. I'm pretty sure he'll peel with just about any overs,...

94o BB special, turn/river play
I'm not sure if I like any of this.....
Not much of a read on Villain, other than that he's played damn near every hand the few orbits he's been here. He's not remarkably aggressive, although he...

Re: I\'m a forum whore (Pool - related)
AZbilliards.com is probably the pool forum equivalent of 2+2; some top pros and open-level players post there, as well as cuemakers and people in the business end of the game. Billiardsdigest.com has...

Re: Is anyone else not getting Party HH?
It was weird for a while, it seemed like the summaries were being to my hard drive, because I wasn't importing them from my email into PT, but they were in there. Then, poof, no more HH's.

Re: I love whiskey thread
I've taken a liking to good bourbons lately. I recommend Blanton's, Knob Creek, Booker's, Baker's, and the high-end Jack Daniels products.

Re: 88 in BB, Party 33
Thanks. I've just started playing more SNG's the last month, and these are the spots that give me the most trouble.
I've been wondering if I'm too willing to make calls in spots with high blinds,...

Re: Misplaced Aggression?
You're rarely worse than a coinflip here, and you're often a small favorite, plus you have some FE. How much FE you have is the question, since villain can possibly have a pretty wide range of hands....

Re: when you get f-ed with every step of the way
In response to your terminology question, my understanding has always been that you take the lead on both streets in a stop-n-go, and you only take the lead on the later street when donkbetting.

Stars 5 rebuy preflop decision, ITM
Blinds 3k/6k, 300 ante, and ITM. I have T125K and have been very active, raising and reraising frequently. EP is a good aggressive player with ~T110k. SB has about T150k, and although I haven't seen...

Re: 3rd break
out 800-something. I make it 600 in EP with black AA, BB who has me covered calls. Flop is K63, 2 crubs. He checks, I bet 1k, he makes it 2k, I raise to 6k, he thinks and pushes. I call in a shot, he...

3rd break
Moved to table 40, ~11k. Was at 16k after flopping a set of 5's on a Q52 board and doubling, but managed to piss some away with some pretty bad play.

Still at 223, T5800. David Williams just got moved here, as did another healthy stack, and matt674 is here too. Should be interesting.

Re: Second Break
21500 at 2nd break, table 112, and somehow I'm the shortest stack at my table.
