Re: New success?

I hit about 65% to 75% most night on showdowns, but that's NL, I would expect limit to be a little lower.

Re: table talk

I'm of the school of thought that you never, ever berate bad players for bad plays. What's to be gained from giving bad players incentive to improve or making them want to target you specifically? ...

Re: Not healthy to play limit and no-limit simulatenously?

I don't mix limit and NL cash games at the same time, but I don't have any trouble playing a limit tourney with a couple of NL cash games going, or vice versa.

Re: Another turn

a) Based on those numbers and the fact that he took a pot-sized bet and doubled it, I think you're well behind here.

b) I can't really give a general answer for what I'd do most of the time, this...

Re: What is a nit?

I've always thought of a "nit" as someone who is a mediocre poker player but who thinks of himself as much more. Someone who knows the general ins and outs and thinks that makes him a great player...

Re: A raised, multi-way pots observation.

I don't see this as an obvious fold at all.

The first two players didn't raise, they just limped, they may not have anything. This is a raise to try to isolate the third player the vast majority...

Partypoker \"gave\" me $100, questions...
