Re: A favor to ask.
I disagree. Berating bad players online does change their play and generally tightens up the entire table. No one wants to have their pants pulled down - even online.

A favor to ask.
There is an incredible rash of players criticizing other players at the 10/20->20/40 tables. This is obviously stupid and I would hope that none of the posters/lurkers here would do this.
But if...

I like it, though I would probably be a chicken [censored] and check the river regardless.

Re: 20-40 hand --- A-10 suited in the BB
Not a lot to go on here. I think the decision is between C/C and C/R. Your opponent is probably aggressive enough to bet the hand, so there's no real need to jam it on the end that I can see.
I...

Re: Ruh-roh
In a crowd C/C is better, but HU a CR turns the screws. You'll fold out a [censored] load of PP here.

Re: 15/30 AJ
Everyone seems hung up on the value bluff. No one thinks we should bet to keep from being pushed off the best hand?

Re: 10/20 General discussion on unimproved AJ
It's a tough spot and I probably don't do the same thing twice in a row and nothing a majority of the time. In general, I believe you are drawing better than 75% of the time.
Btw, not being...

Re: 15/30 AJ
I think you misunderstood me. He's calling the turn with a lot more than AQo that he would fold to a river bet. A lot of aces, broadway combos and sometimes worse.

Re: 15/30 AJ
Villains range is a lot bigger than AQo. The only real merit I see to betting the river is to prevent being pushed of the best hand by checking.

Re: 15/30 AJ
I would check the river if called on the turn (and you don't make a hand of-course). And I would fold if he bets.

Re: 2/4 KTs
MP1 is too early for me to consider raising here routinely. Too much can happen behind and I want encourage a nice big multiway pot to splash around in.

I call most of the time. Raising would require a reason to raise based on the seats involved.

Re: 15/30 questions
If you have the roll for the 10-20, I don't see the reason to not play it instead of waiting. The 15-30 isn't a poker paradise of players just giving their money away.

I understand what you are saying. I'm in the move up as fast as your roll will carry you camp though.
Will he have to move down after taking a few lumps? Very possibly, maybe likely.
Will he...

Re: 15/30 JJ
I think it's very unlikely that your opponent will fold the winning hand 1-in-13 times even in a "protected" pot but I'm probably off-base here. edumacate me.

Re: 10/20, 8-8 against loose aggressive 3 bettor
Capping here PF with a medium PP is really important imo. You want to send a message that you have a big penis too. But you don't want to get out of hand.
Once you cap PF with the reasonable...

Me personally, I donk a lot with a K in my hand. I like the donk here with ace-high because you're out of relative position with the SB in there and you probably have the best hand. I want to put...

The aggression level is generally less at 10-20 from my experience, which makes decisions easier and less costly.

I think bet/call is best. You might then lead on the river again especially if you can fold to a raise. But I like it in general even if you're going to call a raise. A lot of these types will make a...

Re: 15/30 questions
David, you already have the bankroll for 15-30. I wouldn't bother with stopping at the limits in between. Just set yourself up for the expectations of winning and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, losing more than...
