Re: Curtains Hand #2
In a vacuum this would be a push. Curtains doesn't play in one.
If his opponent calls and the table sees the hand, it can have significant impacts on his opponents future calling standards,...

Re: So what the crap do I do now?
That is a tough spot. The call preflop is standard, and reraising an UTG raiser just isn't smart.
The flop's a tricky situation - your hand is fairly strong and vulnerable, inclining you to bet,...

Re: 100+15 at the Mirage
[ QUOTE ]
I just read the first few sentences of this, and saw you smooth called a min raise from the UTG player when you held KK. This isn't a good idea. You're letting the whole table have a go...

Re: ($22): To push or not to push
[ QUOTE ]
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but say I raise 300 with KK. Flop comes ace high. With only 635 left, am I committed to calling any flop push? What I'm getting at is, with the stacks...

Re: ($55) If curtains can post one, so can I
[ QUOTE ]
I don't like it at all unless Giga made it. Especially at a lower buy in. Regardless of your read on MP2.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, obviously giga will get a K95...

Re: shameless bluff post
[ QUOTE ]
I can't imagine why curtains would be encouraging players that he plays with frequently to call him in late levels.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is a huge, huge difference in calling an all...

Re: shameless bluff post
[ QUOTE ]
Curtains, why did you show?
[/ QUOTE ]
"The purpose of a bluff is two fold:
1) To win the pot right then and there.
2) To create a desired image for future plays"

Re: $11 - Three 8-handed pushes
[ QUOTE ]
All three tables have been more tight than the typical $11 and I should have a solid, tight table image.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hahahahaha. Sorry. Did you just say "image" in the same...

Re: Curtains hand #1
If the reraise all in is less than the size of the initial raise (which in this case it wasn't), you can only call and not reraise.

Re: $33 Party, QQ post flop.
My default play in this situation is betting the flop. If C/R I let go, if called I proceed with caution. I don't mind a flop check either.
I value bet the river for a smallish amount (1/3rd -...

Re: Q9s on button
I'm fine with either folding or making it 400 or so; I probably just fold.
I don't think the EV between the plays is that huge either, unless the blinds are known to be aggressive in which case...

Re: Where to restart?
For personal reasons, I had to take out 9/10's of my bankroll and restart with only $3k. In order to accomodate this, I had to drop down levels to the $50's, which I haven't played in almost a year....

Re: $55 bubble hand.
I'm amazed at how unecessarily long this thread is.
Citanul wins as usual.
