Re: HELP!
agree with the PF reraise...
on the flop i think i fold here, you're only ahead of AK or AQ, behind all the others like AA KK JJ and probably AKs. at most call and see what he does on the turn,...

Re: overpair out of position. advice?
agree with the PF raise post...
also maybe think about overbetting the flop.
1. you're probably not going to improve and may have to fold if an A K Q hit, not to mention the straight draw.
2. ...

Re: Hypothetical Nuts
i think you call here...
his min raise could represent a hand that he will continue playing if you reraised him back, but it could also represent a bet based soley on what he perceives as your weak...

Re: good fold or too weak?
so at what point in your example are you "pot committed?" like in your example...you should be calling or betting your last 7 bucks when the pot size is 36. this is close to 5-1 odds....so is this...

Re: Need some Advice on this AK hand
great example of bigstacks in PP are not automatically great players that should be feared...
if i joined the table after that hand, i'd see MP3 with almost 200BB, but look at how bad of a player he...

Re: good fold or too weak?
how does the 40BB stack size come into play? i hear a lot about being willing to go allin with TPTK in short stacked games (ie party poker). would anyone mind explaining this to me briefly? ...

Re: Second Best, Good or Bad Call?
i'm not sure leading out on the flop was a good idea with such bad position. you have three behind you, and the only person who is calling your bet either has a 6 or a jack i would think. what else...

Re: no idea what to do here
i agree with the other post...
bet the pot, i've been in the same situation a lot and find that you'll get a lot of pots that way without having to see the turn. if someone is calling, i'd say 75%...

Re: KK lots of action
agreed, its a flaw i need to correct...
i think it was purely the fact that i was down about 100xBB from mostly badbeats and only a few poorly played hands, and had come back to +80xBB with solid...

Re: folded a set, right play?
disagree with the slowplay on the flop...just my opinion though.
i think betting the flop is the best strategy cause:
1. if you check the flop, everyone may see the turn for free... the...

Re: A couple of AK preflop situations
i'd reraise PF in the first one, but not 2nd one based on position
i've never been a huge fan of AK from the blinds, although from EP I love to raise it to thin out the field. from the blinds...

Re: In Need of Desperate Help!!!

Hand #4
I have no problem with the preflop raise or the apparent attempted steal on the flop, but why keep firing on the turn? I know it might be weak to give up on this pot, but we're...

Re: KQs, was this an okay bluff on the river?
quoted: I agree with you, except for the river. I wasn't paying attention to the stack sizes, and took the guys word that the bets were small. They weren't really that small (at least not the flop...
