Re: 88 your play?
If raising 88 on the button is correct - how about 77? What about 22? You still get the same action when you flop a set, you still might get a look at a free turn card. I don't see raising with 88...

Re: Maybe Stupid
Why would you check the turn? You are worried about the A of hearts? I would check only if you think it would cause someone to take a shot at you on the river (which you should raise). Bet out on...

Re: Which book to buy?
If have played some holdem and want to get good then I would suggest ordering Small Stakes Holdem from Amazon. Its not a beginner book but if you read it and can grasp the concepts then you can...

Re: KK tough hand
With a board like this you need to be worried about a set. You got check-raised on the flop and you are basically drawing to two outs if you are behind. SB is telling you that you are behind. ...

Re: Watch Waxie Move Up
I'm not sure of the point of posting a hand when you already know the correct way to play it. Just because your villian raised with A9 doesn't mean that you did the right thing. Also be careful...

Re: AJo in the CO
Am I the only one who wants to get out of this hand? BB might cap with trash but we should respect the raise of Button. We are behind and didn't hit the flop at all. If we can isolate BB with a...

Re: Looking for a coach...
I have just started to really get my game together where I can crush 1/2 and I would say the single thing that made the most impact for me was reading SSH continuously. I've read it probably 5 times...

Re: Bet/Fold on River or Bet/Call?
I think bet call is the right line. When CO raises the flop you should put him either on a draw, an over pair or a pair on the board. The turn may have completed his draw but he doesn't seem too...

Re: Multitabling question
One aspect to consider is the bankroll problems. Assuming you need 400xBB to cover all swings then if you 8 table at 2/4 you need 1600 per table for a total of 12800. If you want to 4 table 5/10...

Re: Tough spot with A9s
This is an easy fold. You probably have the best hand but there are very few cards that won't completely cripple your hand. Fold and move on to the next hand.

Re: against my villian - live 8-16 - HAND 3
What kind of evaluation are you looking for? Calling three bets with middle pair and a backdoor flush draw is spewing chips. Betting out on the turn to get the rest of your chips in is a donation.

Re: T8s gets there
I haven't looked at the other responses so excuse me if this is redundant but I would fold preflop. Raising the flop makes sense if you are in late position but do you really want to take the lead...

Re: What am I doing wrong??
I see posts like this from time to time and usually I think the poster isn't as good a player as he or she believes (not that you won't be soon). There are more hands played on-line per hour and...

Re: Did I go too far here?
Big Blind is playing like he has a set but I have no history to judge his play. If the whole table is on tilt he could just as easily have JJ or QQ or AK or worse. I would probably raise the turn...

Re: JJ on a very scary board.
He probably has you beat but it is worth a call. My guess would be the flush with the initial raise an attempt at a free card - don't know if he is good enough to pull this move though.

help with blind structure at local B&M...
