Re: Good Taj stories?
I was in the cardroom when some guy had 40-50k stolen when he stepped away from a table when the game was on a break. There is a moral to this story don't leave money on the table.

I think the one solid rule in this situation is to keep your mouth shut and mind your own business.

Showdown won%
I've never really thought showdown win %. I use the stats window to keep track of how many hands I play on PP, and after 500 hands of 5/10, 10/20, and 15/30 I usually have a showdown percentage in...

Re: 40/80 at the Taj vs. Maniac
When did the Taj start spreading 40/80? Did they finally get blue chips? Is it straight holdem? How has the Borgata game been holding up since their 40 game isnt the only one in town?

Re: Why is Phil H still walking upright
The great thing about casinos are you can be as big as an a-hole as you want to be, and they will protect you. If you want to take it outside, however, that is your own choice.

Re: str. and flush draw on the flop
It would seem to me that a tight and straightfoward player would raise 8s-10s and any higher pocket pair. The mini raise looks like he wants to take a free card off.

Re: my first preflop question in a long time...
Getting that much on my money I would probably call with any two, just to see if I could flop two pair or something big.
I did this once in a 20 game at FW. Everyone limps to me on the button, I...

Re: Going Pro: The Other Side
I think this story needs to be published in Cardplayer Magazine. All they ever talk about is how great the poker boom is for everybody, when in reality it only benefits casinos and an extremely small...

Re: 50/100 Bottom Set, Unraised Pot
I don't play this high or this deep, but I think the only hands that beat you are 77 and possibly J10. I would think he would raise w/ any of the pp's up there including 77, but you said he is tricky...
