This is a good way to play NLHE, actually. In fact, this is why it's such a faddish cash game: as soon as enough players discover this strategy, the games break up for a while. Then, a few years...

If you really dislike varience, consider playing split-pot games like Stud-8 or Omaha-8. In fact, consider O8 anyway, since the games tend to be soft (especially on Party) and easily multi-tabled.

I think Dannis just trying to sound lofty again. IMO, whether stud or hold'em is easier for any person depends on how well they can memorize cards. Though, I personally have found stud-8 easier...
