Re: Fold AK to re-raise?
Easy fold IMO. You only risked 60 chips so far, why risk the rest for a coinflip in a worstcase senario.

Re: Stars 16 turbo QQ on an AAAK board
I don't understand why everyone feels like a call here? Regardless of how unorthadox his play seems, it still is only round 1 blinds, and you have only invested 500 chips. His play smells like a...

What\'s going on in Vegas on Mar. 18-20??
I'm planning a trip to Vegas for that weekend, but all the hotel rates are about triple their norm, and most of the hotels are booked. Does anyone know what's so special about that particular...

Re: partypokercompanion - kind of disturbing
I think the program you are referring to is POKI. It seems to be a successful attempt at an AI made specifically to play poker, based on the actions of the players at the table. So it really does...

Re: Need Help - Mental Problem with the Game
I'm not quite sure how much you are keeping in your bank roll for different limits, but you have to realize that with these higher limits, the volitity of your ROI will drastically waver every now...

Re: J-J, reraised all in, early in tourney
Yeah, that's an easy fold, specially so early in the tourney. With the way he betted out, you're either already beat with KK or even AA, or evened up with AK. Easy fold there.

The funniest thing just happened.
Alright, so it's the very beginning of the SNG, prolly the 3rd hand or so. I'm UTG with KTc. I casually muck, I am very very tight until about the 100/200 level. Anyways, flop comes, Qc Jc Jd. ...

Re: Talk about a bad beat---unavoidable I think.
Hmm, yeah, fold pre-flop would have been an option. I'm normally a T/A player..but the pot odds for it were there, I calculated bout 3 callers, then a raise, then a caller, and I figured the other 3...

Talk about a bad beat---unavoidable I think.
Ok, so here's the short of it. I'm 78d on the button. Villian is UTG+3. villian raises, UTG+4 calls, I call, UTG calls, and UTG+2 calls. Flop is: Js 8c 7c. Check to Villian who bets, I raise,...
