Re: Posting some of my own hands tonight:
i say it's a push only because it's suited. i think these are one of those situations that curtains recently discovered is a push if it's suited but a fold if it's not. but really i'm just guessing...

Re: Rehauling my play. An early game workshop.
2) Push...your hand does better if it can see 5 cards as opposed to 3. Not to mention that playing this hand out of position sucks. But there is a large number of chips relative to your chip stack in...

Re: Curtains: screw the 10 BB \'rule\'
When I'm in late position, I tend to play a hand slower because I want to use my positional advantage. I will push the exact same hand from the blinds because it's hard to play high non-pair hands...

Re: Curtains gets frisky in the blinds
Curtains,
Let me rephrase. It seems to me that you mix up your play depending on the style of opponent you're up against. If it's a weak player who will open limp from the button, then you might...

Re: Curtains gets frisky in the blinds
Curtains,
What would you have done if your opponent was Newt Buggs or Custer...point being, that they could read such a small bet as a blocking bet and bet you off the hand with air, since you...

Re: ($33) Bigslick, TPTK on uncoordinated board
change your subject to read, "coordinated board", there's a possible flush and straight draw out. Two mini raises...yeah, I fold. Against one opponent, I call and push the turn. You can't push the...

Re: Curtains Hand #1 (1C5)- Bubble play
If one of the other stacks were a little smaller (less than 1200), I'd probably fold and try and steal their blind. But if you fold this hand and the SB, then a push will not significantly effect any...

Re: Curtains Hand #4 (Degen)
I fold. I don't think he over bets the pot with a draw. But he does over bet the pot with a 5 or an over pair.
All of the other opponents but one have the same stack size as you. Therefore, ther...

Re: Curtains Hand #3 (Degen)
I think it's a good call. If he wins it half the time, then it's plus $EV. The most compelling reason to call is his stack size. If he folds (7BB) or loses (6BB), he'll be in the exact same...

Re: ($22): Another TT hand.
tough situation. An over-card will fall on the flop more than half the time, therefore calling doesn't look appealing. If you raise and are called, then you're likely behind. A raise will commit...

Re: ($109) KK - standard line and fold?
Schwza's line is very interesting. Check the flop. Call a turn bet. And fold a river bet. hmmmmm. Has potential. it looks like you either have the nuts or am really weak.
Sure even I could fire...

Re: $55: Standard small overpair, take 2
I'm not sure why everyone says push or fold. IMHO, pushing is by far the worst possible choice. If you push, then the pot will have $1225 and the original better will have $460 behind. Therefore, the...
