Can I find a fold here?
This is roughly what happened recently seated at party 2/4 no reads.
I am UTG and open raise AQ hearts. Cold called by 2 people in later posistion. Flop comes Q rag rag. Bet raised by late...

Re: Stymied Steal
maybe this is a big leak for me, but i raise the flop like you did in hopes of a free card on the turn. If i get nothign on the turn i fold when he bets into me again. I picked up the double...

Re: KK with a double-paired turn
Hmmm.... If you call the turn check raise you're commited to a showdown for sure. I think calling the turn check raise is questionable. This guys stats don't make me think he's on a steal, and at...

Re: This felt wrong, Middle pair.
I 3 bet the flop as it gives you a much better sense of where you are. If you get smooth called you can bet again on the turn. Easy fold if raised. If you get capped i think check/fold the turn is...

Re: I apparently suck at full ring games.
yes i've read ssh, i could move to other sites, but i doubt they're as fishy as party. As far as sitting at short tables i try that, but it deteriorates fast or ends up full.

Re: I apparently suck at full ring games.
There are fewer 1/2 games, and games at 2/4 seem to be a little looser oddly enough. Also i don't particularly LIKE full ring games compared to 6 max. I want to move up and this is the only way to...

I apparently suck at full ring games.
Moving up the limits from 1/2 6 max to 2/4 full... getting raped. I feel lost at these big tables. I have no idea of the value of my hands, don't know what peoples bets/raises mean. Ugh i feel...

Re: Questionable rivers
Isn't Hand #1 a good place to call call call. Lose the least, win the most out of a trash hand? If he had nothing he would fold to your turn raise. If he crushes you he reraises.
Hand 2: I...

Re: Hand to Hand Combat
A very clever person gave us an acronym here, but i can't remember it anymore. In shorthanded games (HU included) always shoot from the H.I.P. Those 3 things are what's important in starting hand...

Re: Passive Aggressive
i think i'd raise preflop personally. However since you didn't. I like it. I think you're ahead and he has second pair.

Re: AQo gets 3-bet
Maybe i'm crazy, but i bet at the pot. If he has some monster he'll let you know usually.

Re: Is this the correct amount of action?
I think calling the turn raise then bet/call when you river the two pair is a better line. You win the most I think, and don't open yourself up to the rape that it looks like you got.

Re: counterfeited 2 pair getting 9 to 1....
I think a check call is better... you're guaranteed a showdown. There is no chance you get bluffed out this way. I don't think there's a lot of value gained from betting the end.
