Hi SS99,
How do you figure? At best for hero, villian has overs in which case we dont really want to see all five cards. Villian...

given the read, you have to trust it, otherwise whats the point of having reads.

pushing is fine.

Really? I mean, I know our hero has a read, but villian just dumped half his stack into into a multi-way pot against a utg raiser. Is this really...

What is villain's range?

You gotta consider, this is a $2 mtt. There are many many limping hands that hit this flop.

Re: um, QQ fold preflop?
raise seems fine to me. I bump it anywhere from 50-60. I cant see folding QQ this early w/out a read. I push to get heads up with the sb and expect to see AQ-AK,TT-KK and maybe AA.

What standard range of limping hands dominates hero?
To the OP, push is standard here for me.

Re: JJ with a reraise?
I would shove pf. If I accidentally didn't get the slider bar over all the way, I am now calling this push because I just committed the lions share of my stack.

You dont raise more pf here? I dont get why you didnt bet the turn? JT or 99 are best, but there are many hands you can bet against for value, right? (Any A, Q9,AQ etc)

Re: JT flops pair + OESD near the bubble
Betgo,
I dont think the draw is that strong. You can't often say hero has 13 clean outs.
If we put villian on a generous range(Q8-QJ,KT-KQ,T9,99,AT-AJ), I think Hero needs more FE than he has...

Re: Stars180 SNG hand
z,
Odd(but good) way to for him to play an A I must say. I think I take a wawb approach.
Flop call is good. I probably check behind on the turn and call most river bets.

FishMonger,
Fold pf. What are you looking to accomplish with a potenitally dominated hand oop?
Once to the flop, I dont like a push because I dont see what better hand folds in a $2 MTT.

Re: pushing in the orange zone (PP$150)
Texas,
Haven't looked at the STT debate, but to me, this is really a table dynamics sort of thing.
Most of the time I'm tossing in a standard raise, but if the table was playing loose and I...

It is interesting and tough. If he is as tight as you say, I dont see what you are ahead of besides QJ. Lay it down.

Re: Early hand first orbit.
Pre-Flop: I'd call
Flop: I;d bet 200
Turn: Bet more, or check and call a reasonable river bet.
My concern is that BB has a better J.
