Seneca Allegany - New Year\'s Eve
How busy will the poker room be this Saturday (will there be a long wait to get a seat)? I am visiting in-laws and would like to play some poker while I am up there (preferably Stud).

Re: What and Where to Play in Tunica
I like Gold Strike, although I have never played at the Horseshoe. Gold Strike spreads 3/6, 5/10, 1/2NL (I think 200 min buy in no max) Holdem. They also run a 3/6 O8 w/ a full kill when they can get...

Re: What\'s your 4th street play?
What to do here really depends on how the Seat 1 plays. If he is a rock, then definetly fold here. If he gets a little crazy with his draws, you may want to three bet here. Calling is also an option,...

Re: Who 3-bets the river?
I would raise here. It looks like his most likely hand is a flush. I don't think that he started w/ trip Kings (he probably would have raised earlier) and he didn't raise until he caught his 3rd...

Re: Flopped top trips no kicker
The preflop call was very questionable. I think I would three bet here. If it gets capped, there is a chance you are up against a better hand (Better King or full house). With both of these players...

Re: Wannabe pros and ESPN
I love these people at the table (especially the ones with the girlfriends). They bluff way too many of their chips off in a 3/6 game. They never seem to realize that they haven't had a successful...

Re: KT dangerous flop
I actually think I would raise here with any King. There are so many draws out here. I want to make them pay to hit it. If you get reraised then you can lay the hand down knowing you are beat.

Re: fold/call with four to a flush
Its not a bad laydown at all. I hate it when I am wrong, but the chances of someone having one card that completes the flush are too great. If there was only 1 opponent in this hand I may consider...

Re: KT dangerous flop
I would have raised here. There are many draws out there that the SB could be betting. If he 3 bets then you can consider folding.

Re: KJ tough flop, many players
Sorry I missed the straight draw here. I think with the straight draw, you may be able to call the turn here to see what the river brings. When you miss on the river I think it would be safe to fold....

Re: You might hate the way I played this hand
I would have just limped in PF. I don;t like raising against calling stations with such weak holdings. I would have probably checked the flop also knowing that the calling station was going to call...

Re: KJ tough flop, many players
What to do on the turn depends on your read on MP3. If he has been known to bluff or is very aggressive and loose, I would raise here to try to get heads up. If someone raised behind me I would fold....

Re: bluffing in micro limits
If you have a loose passive table that has been to the river every hand, then bluffing or even semibluffing may not be idea. If there is any chance that your opponent will fold, that is when it...

I always try to play tight and aggressive the first few rounds. Hopefully you can pick up some hands and build your stack for when then blinds start getting out of control. After the first few...

Re: Playing against pre-flop re-raise?
What I do in these situations depends on the player. I try to pay attention what they will normally raise/reraise with and what they have been showing down. Against a tight player I may throw away AK...

Caesar\'s Indiana Report
I played at Caesar's IN for the first time this weekend. They have a pretty nice room. It is no Tunica, but not bad. They now offer 2/4, 4/8, 5/10 (with and without a kill), 10/20, 20/40, 2-5NL ($200...

Re: should i be calling these down?
I would probably fold on the flop here. You don't have the odds to catch your straight and it is too likely that you are up against at least one Ace (and probably the AK at that).
