Re: shyte flush
He is pushing most likely to prevent someone from catching a flush. He probably has a K or Q, no question push.

Re: ($1.75) (!) Possible collusion?
[ QUOTE ]
If your buyin can't even get you a happy meal, you shouldn't worry about collusion.

Now this post made reading this thread worthwhile.
I won't even worry about...

Re: ($22s) Flopped set, villain pushes turn.
I think the thing is though that you are probably gonna wait and then push a marginal hand later and hope to double up. I think it's even more +EV to push now because you are probably ahead and even...

Re: $33: AA hand.. what to do?
I ain't laying down aces. Raise more preflop for sure (like 125 is fine) I push all in on the turn for sure, probably bet more on the flop too. Aces get cracked some times, so what it's +EV to be...

Re: AK re-raised, OOP. Just dump this? (22s)
I fold this. I don't want to get involved for this many chips this early. He could have Jacks or something but considering you are only hitting a king or queen on the flop 30 something percent of the...

Re: Stopping some possible leaks
1 - ohh god that raise is insane with 99 and blinds that arn't worth anything. I call for set value and dump it otherwise. TOo many ways to go broke for nothing.
2 - with 20 bb's. I fold this. I...

Re: 109: A9s 7 Players Huge Blinds
I know the feeling exactly. Not that the situation is the same but I had a coach here on two plus two and he's a fairly aggressive player, however some of the advice I got got me playing real...

Re: 109: A9s 7 Players Huge Blinds
yeah I do understand your reasons and they are valid, I mean I think getting called here IS faily possible. If you fold though I just think your chances of placing are gonna be lower. I hate this...

Re: Midpairs in lvl 4 w/ 13-20BB
Why bet anything? You have 17bbs. You don't need this hand right now. If you want to fish around for trips thats fine but what else are you trying to get out of this?
If you flop overcards are...

Re: 109: A9s 7 Players Huge Blinds
Well for one next hand you are gonna get stuffed with a 300 chips big blind. That sucks and sucks a lot. Plus of course the SB too. So you are looking at losing 450 chips to put you at 1000 chips...

Re: First Hand All-in Question
Not sure if you mentioned your stack size but I couldn't find it. A lot of players would push Q-x there or something. I would probably push in this scenario.

Re: Calling all ins that make no sense
Too many big blinds to mess around with this. If blinds are 50/100 and u got 950 chis, then yeah but at this point you have a nice stack and it's just not worth jeopardizing it. One overcard puts you...

Re: BB vs Huge Chip Leader
I think it's somewhat read dependant, if you know what kind of player he is and how he plays good hands then you will have a better idea of what to do. If he value bets a lot then maybe you could be...

Re: revisiting old post
Even if I knew for a fact that he was pushing KQs, I would still call. You are still ahead, you got him covered, and the blinds are insane. What else is there?

Re: revisiting old post
A premium hand is pushing here? Blinds are massive. He has 6 Big blinds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shoot I would probably push a ton of stuff in that position. If he is waiting on a premium hand he...

Re: $55: Do you push with 1 limper at 300 blinds?
First of all what do you think he's got? Meaning, what do you think he is limping with? I would say a worse ace or a small pocket pair, with your fold equity on him (which probably still isn't much,...

Re: $22 Bubble Play
You will still have some fold equity at the 20's esp if you push into mum frog dude. In my experiance a raise like that UTG by a healthy stack into a big stack is not usually a steal. I would more...
