I push the river.

Why in God's name would you push the river? What are you trying to accomplish? You don't need to push just because you think you're ahead.

Re: QQ agaisnt idiot calling station
I always bet the same pre-flop, 3.5 BB + 1 BB per limper, no matter what I have (unless there are idiots calling huge raises with crap, but I hadn't seen that here).

Re: QQ agaisnt idiot calling station
I agree with those of you who said bet more on the turn. My thinking at the time was that he would call the $20 bet with any pair, but I might run out a hand that was drawing dead with a bigger bet....

QQ agaisnt idiot calling station
Can't get Bison's converter to work, so I'm editing. Comments and criticism on all streets welcome.
Villian is 57/8/1 with a penchant for calling with anything.

Re: How do you acclimate to moving up? (lc)
Personally, I just wait until I have 300 BB's at the next level that I can stand to lose, and then just take single table shots. If I lose anything at all, I move back until I'm back to the extra 300...

What if he's got a hand like AK? If you only bet $3 then he's getting the correct price to call. You need to at least bet enough to make it incorrect for him to draw out on...

Re: one pair, insanely huge pot
If MP just wants to isolate the UTG donkey, why not push instead of min-raise and give hero (who is most likely on a real hand) such great odds to call? Not saying that you're wrong, just seems...

Re: $400nl 6-max: TPTK in family pot.
I don't really like the pf raise w/ATo, what is calling that you beat? Post flop, I'd usually just lead, unless MP is aggro enough to bet anything most of the time, then the flop play is fine.
