Re: $60 AJ on Bubble
Well I was actually assuming Villain is raising 100%, which is clearly not likely, to get the +EV 0.4%. I just thought this was one of those "you can't beat me by calling my any two" moments.
If...

Re: $60 AJ on Bubble
I also thought this was an easy fold.
But surprisingly this is EV+0.4%, so not exactly worth calling, but not horrendous either.
Am I screwing something up in SnGPT? It's telling me maximum...

Re: $22: SB push check
Against a maniac calling range (top 23% of hands), SnGPT says you can push the top 80% of hands. Loose (top 12.7% of hands) makes it 100%.
So yeah, pretty much any two. Gap concept is beautiful.

Re: ATo in 6-way pot ($11)
Umm, this may sound stupid but I want to make sure I have the intuition right.
You would respect an early position limper more than a late position limper, correct?
My thinking: early...

Re: ATo in 6-way pot ($11)
Really? Hero has 14xBB 9-handed and he's in the middle of the pack. Blinds won't hit him for 7 hands or something. Would you really shove to pick up 2.5xBB w/ just one limper?
I feel like I'd...

Re: ATo in 6-way pot ($11)
What would you do here if there were only 2 limpers? 1 limper?
Would you be still inclined to limp the former and raise the latter? Or maybe fold since your pot odds decrease?
*confused about...

Re: AK early - 2 hands ($11)
The first should be an easy fold. Sucked that you got that much action preflop, but there's not much you can do w/ that flop.
I'd push the second one. I'm not in love w/ it, because it a lot of...

Re: $11: QQ - Dumb push early?
Open shoving that flop is 100% unnecessary. I would push if reraised after I had bet t130-160 or so.
I would bet around the same if a K flopped. I think for an ace I would shade towards the...

Re: $11: Two 77 hands - too weak?
I would fold the first. 77 isn't really worth pushing given your chipstack. It's not going to overpair or hit a set often enough either for 14% of your stack to just call.
The second I would...

Re: QQ couldn\'t lay it down
I think the only problem is that they'll do this w/ TT and JJ too. Hell, AJo will do this. The problem w/ donks is that everything is a monster to them.

Re: QQ couldn\'t lay it down
I personally woulda just pushed this preflop.
I definitely push the flop.
I don't think giving people credit for KK+ at any point in the game is really +EV...

OT: some SnGPT questions
1.) I find when I go through my hh that I'm often pushing a lot of small edges at <10xBB (0.3% - 0.7%). Is this why I suck at poker? e.g. when people talk about how their understanding of ICM is...

$11: ATo w/ 12xBB: did i botch this?
fwiw I don't think I would have called any other push except for Villain. i suspect i should have just folded this preflop.

Re: pocket nines $10s PP
It's fine to limp w/ 99. There's a chance you'll hit your set and someone will stack off to you w/ TPTK or overpair. With a pp as high as 99, there's also the added bonus that there's a good shot...

Re: $22 SNG... Party or bodog
Your sample at Bodog may just be too small or due to your edge in having 1,000 chips.
I find it hard to believe anything is softer than Party, but I'm willing to hope . . . Need to clear some new...
