Re: TT vs a raiser w/position AND a stop-and-go
The only hand that TAG could have that you can beat is AK, unless his capping requirements are much looser than the normal TAG. Also, some tight players will fold ak in the face of a raise and...

Re: Nooby PF question
My cutoff is just above ATs, I would rather have the limpers behind me, as many will call 1 bet with far inferior hands, but not 2. But whether you raise or call this hand, it will have little effect...

Re: how to play bottom 2 pair
It's a VERY draw heavy board, and MP1 could correctly be capping with a big draw. I think you played fine. I'm showing down unless the board gets really ugly and it becomes obvious I'm beat. Your...

Re: 98s small blind
I would fold on the flop against most opponents. He's probably got either a Ten, or a straight draw, which may include 2 overs, meaning you're about even money. The pot is small enough that you won't...

Re: I made a flush
I would bet the turn. Since you went for the CR, I would call the river against most players.

2-2-5 NL. I flop quads against a HORRIBLE player.
2-2-5 NL game at Greektown in Detroit. There is a HUGE fish in the game that usually goes through about $4000 in 2 hours. He raises to $25 preflop every hand. He has about $2000 to start this hand, I...

88th after the first hour
I'm flytrap at table 187. I didn't add-on like some of the people with my stack size, so I dropped to 88th with 13,555 after the first hour.

Re: When board pairs on the Flop
Since you played aj, you hit a pretty good flop for it. I'd bet, and if I get called, I might bet the turn, but I'm not going to get broke on this hand, unless and ace hits and they have quad 7s.

Re: sng bankroll
The lower limits are much easier. Opponents calling with anything is a very good thing in the long run. A good bankroll would be 50 buy-ins for the limit you play.

Re: 109 Bubble push or fold
This is a very easy push. If you fold and shorty doubles up you'll be kicking yourself. If you get called and win, you have a real shot at first.

Re: TPGK, Villain moves in on river
I may have gone for a check-raise on the flop, but other than that you did fine. I would check-fold the river if my opponent pushed.
Folding preflop is NOT an option. No one has raised, so it's not...

Re: Out of the red.
Losing 1k at the 55s isn't that bad. Heck, it's not even 20 buy-ins. Sounds like you moved up a little fast if you were worried about a 1k downswing at the 55s. Perhaps your bankroll wasn't healthy...

Re: Good Ol\' Stop-n-Go
I would muck this and see what the next few hands bring. He doesn't have to call that much, so he could call with any pair, despite being tight. I think you'll find a better spot the next few hands.
