Re: Do you think he\'ll be mad?
I agree, not the most professional, regradless, I'd note that the "Wooden Cowboys" tab contains the following botch: "...and points the cowboys towards to casinos." Also, "Ed gets sloshed on night...

Re: Worst... Xmas Presents... Ever
There is a difference between servants and people you hire to come over and clean every so often. To say that making 40k/yr gets you servants is retarded... It gets you a weekly maid...

Re: turn play
Raising the turn, calling a 3-bet and then calling down is a bit expensive no?
If you raise the turn and he calls, he'll check to you on the river...
If you call the donk, he (usually) bets...

I call-down from the turn donk. Against your average player, it's two pair/straight etc...

Hero bets the turn and calls a raise... And check-calls a blank river. Donks a river /images/graemlins/heart.gif
Edit: Thats gay, I bet a blank river...

Re: Hand from sweat session
I'd have check-folded the flop, the pot is ubersmall and if you run into a 9, river could be an A or K. Then what?
I guess you could have the best hand, but what do you do when a turn card like...

I call the flop and fold the turn UI.

Well, considering the turn didn't improve him... I fold.

Re: Anyone play this steal the same?
I fold pre-flop. I fold the flop. Since you played... I bet the turn and fold to a CR. If he calls the turn bet, I check behind on the river and expect to be best...

Re: Villain Makes a Fishy Play
Meh, I think you might be ok here. Guys like this sometimes make stupid 3-bets, you might appear to be maniac to him if you've been running pretty well pf and he's deciding to play back a bit...

Re: Villain Makes a Fishy Play
Call down. He could have all kinds of hands, although I assume he has something pretty decent. Is this the first time you've seen him 3-bet pf?

Re: whats the correct play here?
If he's a stock LP-P he is usually betting with some pair, I raise the flop, check behind on the turn or fold it UI if he donks.

Re: Fold to the turn 3 bet?
I definitely call down. He likely puts you on a lot weaker hand than AJ considering it looks like you're pulling a standard blind steal. Often enough, he thinks you're trying to put a move on him...

Re: One of *those* decisions...
I raise pf every time. A continuation bet on the flop will often take this down HU uncontested assuming BB doesn't call your raise...
Anyway, post-flop I play it the same and hope he waited...

Re: Horrible turn fold - KK?
Yeah, I'd be pretty confident he has a set, trying to be covert with AA is also a possibility. However, I wouldn't be real comfortable making that fold in a pot this big. If SB pulls a C-R, I...

Re: Stats post...
The real question is: Why is have you folded AA twice pf? /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Anyway, I love posts like this. I've played 23k hands of breakeven poker... Appreciate the perspective...
