Re: Spider senses are tingling
That's an option too and one I use alot, but sometimes I feel that 3-betting the OOP min-raise gives them a chance to get away from AK, which I don't think he is doing once we call and he bets the...

Re: bluffing with a set
Not good. The cold call at these stakes usually means spades, at the very least a 9.
Against one opponent the river bet is not so bad, against two, you are most likely getting called by a better...

Re: 3/6 QQ
That's what I was thinking. I folded, quickly, which made me feel very owned. I mean I would have done the same thing with AA, which seems right but doesn't. I guess I just need to give alot more...

3/6 QQ
Villain in this hand has played exactly one hand against me, one where he re-raised me OOP, check-called a pot-sized bet on the flop, turn went check-check and he check folded to a pot sized bet on...

Re: Foxwoods Stakes & Rake
The 1-2 is capped at $100, if you drop below $40, you can rebuy up to $140.
The 2-5 game is a 300-500 buy-in game and is usually very good
The 5-5 game has no cap and is completely ridiculously...

Re: 5/10 KK, board double paired low
I like a check behind on the flop.
The way it went down, if he's tight and over-agressive, I think a three bet the flop is good, because I can see him having diamonds more than I can see him...

Re: 5/10 Flop Overbet Semibluff
Seems to me that the range of hands that he would limp UTG and then lead into the PF raiser is also well within the 'call curious overbets on drawy boards' range.
Of course, if you're looking for...

Re: NL at Turning Stone
So how would they compare with the similar size games at FW? Anyone who has played in the 2-5 game at both places would be greatly appreciated

Re: River Bluff?
[ QUOTE ]
What line do you normally take on the Turn?
[/ QUOTE ]
I probably lead the turn for about 60% on the turn, especially after check-raising the flop. If he raises you after that, I...

Re: Summer League
Christ. Green with 14. I can't even imagine the outlandish predictions I'm going to making for him during the next year or so.

Definitely not from the South. I knew how good Smoltz was, I just didn't realize how good his numbers were. good point about Mazzone, if he can turn Jaret Wright into an Ace, I can only imagine what...

Re: John Smoltz
It is pretty unbeleivable that this guy has flown under the radar as much as he has. Everyone thinks he's good, but I don't think I'm alone when I say I didn't think I'd be seeing him at Cooperstown.

Re: C\'s on the clock
Chandler would be great in Green. they've needed a garbage-man type guy for so long, he would be perfect. Unfortunately, no one's going near Pierce.
