Re: flopped bottom set, 200NL

Re: Jd 4d preflop
What about cold calling raises? I think that there is real potential here as well. I mean, come on, I've seen people raise with stuff like:
AA
KK
QQ
JJ
TT
99
88
77

Re: Semibluff or Chip Spew?
[ QUOTE ]
Calling 10x the BB with suited connectors is going to cost you money in the long run.

Re: Semibluff or Chip Spew?
On the flop, as you know, betting 1/4 the pot is useless. It isn't going to fold anyone and MP may well have interpreted it as a naked bluff, hence the c/r.

Re: Did I Trap Myself? (3-3 PL at the Vic)

Did I Trap Myself? (3-3 PL at the Vic)
3-3 PL at the Vic. Villain is one of the Vic regulars. Very TAG. Hero is also TAG and Villain knows this. I overheard him discussing my play with his neighbor. Hero has 1700, Villain covers.

As Mason Would Say . . .
. . . no wonder the games are so good.
3/6 NL, effective stacks 750. Three limpers to me so I make it 30 straight with TT. Only a scardy cat player in the CO calls.
Flop: J 7 4 (suits...
