Re: fold a boat against LAG?
In regards to the whole raising the river line:
I think this would be a fine line if the river wasn't an Ace for a number of reasons.
1) This card sucks and puts you behind alot.
2) The...

Re: 3/6: SPTK on a monotone flop
What is so wrong with calling down here once the turn is a non-club? I can't imagine the CO holding an Ace after it gets folded to him in the CO and he neglects to raise.

How the hell did you get 50bb in on the turn? lol
I think betting is a good line, obviously you wanna get it capped up, and it seems like he is loving his hand so let him raise, as I imagine he...

Re: PT auto rate players
Not trying to be a snob, but auto-rating your players and trying to find some hard rules about playing against each type is really gonna get you no where in 6-max. Just having their stats displayed...

Re: A7s vs the donk check
Yeah, I wouldn't call here, I can't think of a hand he would play this way that you beat unless you were really paying attentino to his play out of the blinds its an easy fold.

Re: He\'s pushing back at my over-pair
I think that after the SB checkraise again on the turn, you need to call down.
I often find that maniacs are the most predictable people to play against. When they have nothing they push hard,...

Re: Been thinking about free showdown raises
I don't think this is a great time to raise for a free showdown at all.
A raise for a free showdown, as I understand it, entails raising with a marginal hand that you may think is the best but...

Re: Back to back to back
CDC,
Going 12 bets on the turn with your full house is just excessive. If he is still pumping it after 7 bets your are in trouble.
Again the last hand, puttiing in 9 bets on the river after...

it seems to me like he usually will river-lead busted draws as a last ditch effort

Re: middle card pairs and the donkey donks
I think calling a raising a safe river is bad because your aren't charging enough for draws, and if he does have a 7 or a 4, he may bet any river and you will be missing a bet when you can't raise...

I like bet, it would be sweet to have MP come along for the ride in a hand where you are probably a huge favorite anyways.

Dont you often see players with hands like K-10 bet cause they have a pair and a straight draw? When he board pairs on the...

Re: a hand I loved then hated then loved
If the villian is as tight as you say, is he ever gonna call a 5-bet? I would think at that point its either obvious you have a Q and he folds, or he has TT or A-Q and he 6-bets. I don't think he...

Clarkmeistering a calling station
Villian in this hand is your typical calling station. He has shown me two pair, straights, and low pair after calling me down. The 4th diamond makes me throw up, what is my play? FWIW I don't...
