Re: Guess my opponent\'s hand
Since you've already shot down the obvious 76s, the only thing that seems to make sense is a PP between 99 and JJ. And even that doesn't make a ton of sense.

Re: Oh Yea? Call this.........
Can't believe no one has berated you yet for checking in the first place. You got what you deserved (a painful decision) for not betting it.

Re: How was my play?
Guess I'm alone on this one, but I really don't like the play against an unknown. At the flop, you ask yourself 2 questions:
1. Is my opponent capable of folding a weak ace or decent pocket...

Re: Could I have slow-played this better?
With that many seeing the flop and only two cards in the deck that remotely scare you, I think this is a pretty easy check. There's a pretty good chance someone will take a stab at it on the turn.

Re: My final comments on Phil H and his maturity
Easy,
It sounds like you're letting his lack of character get to you. Don't. He's just a guy that's great at something, and also happens to be a tool. Look at any sport, or anything for that...

You played it fine; I figure there's about a 30% chance you won it.

If you like your bacon crispy, throw it on there. FYI, the little tray they give you is just big enough to handle the grease discharged from one pound of bacon.
