Re: Rake at 3/6
I just moved to 5/10 last week. The rake at 5/10 is like .05 BB less than 3/6.
5/10 is a little tougher than 3/6. The overall aggression is higher but it's still donktastic.

I was originally all for this thinking that many Ax hands will think they have you beat. On top of that, many Ax hands might open from the SB. I want to 3-bet so badly, but I could see...

I am.

i am pretty sure villain has a set a good percentage of the time. the turn is a pretty commonplay at 3/6 since there are 4 people in the hand. it seems obvious that a bad player would...

Re: 10/20 KK
Bet/3-betting the turn is a sign of immense strength normally.
I'll agree that his flop line is a little odd and defining his hand range can be quite debatable but I think you need to know that...

Re: T9o River
You're getting 13 to 1 odds meaning you have to be good only about 7% of the time.
You don't really have much information to narrow down his hand range, as he is very loose and called all the way...

Re: AKs Plan
I think you can call the turn and see the river card. I think your overcard outs are very very clean. Most players will slowplay trip jacks so I think you can discount that significantly. You aren't...

Re: 5/10: JJ w/ A flop
You get to see a showdown and get a chance to hit your possible two outer for the same price (2 BB's).

raise preflop.

Re: KK line check.
I don't think you should fold this.
Most people will think "He's FOS he doesn't have the Q" and will C/R with a 7 or some other PP. This happens quite often.

Re: Q9s, paired board
I think this is an easy limp with bad players as you will have a marginal edge. Raising is ok too for the same reason.
That being said you only have that marginal edge if you are capable of...

Re: overplayed or just right?
I don't mind your line although the river donk is a little worrysome.
I'd just play it straight up against a lag and 3-bet the flop. I think that would have helped you make a decision later on in...

There are very few hands that we're ahead of that will call the river. So unless he is a gigantic calling station I think this is a check/call on the river to induce a bluff.
Note that if the turn...

Re: Scary flop with TT vs a lag
You're pretty much break-even equity wise on the flop. I think 3-betting to possibly push the BB out to get it heads up with the lag would improve our equity significantly. If the BB still calls it...
