Re: Should I go broke here (KK early tourny)
Push. He probably has an overpair as well. He probably won't fold it. Worst case scenario is a set and it's not too terrible likely with his big bet. He could very likely have a good ace w/ a flush...

Re: QQ final table
Open push. You're obviously tying yourself to the pot but you don't want anyone to be able to get away from a dominated pair, or whiffed high cards on the flop, even though they'll be getting great...

Re: What\'s my move here?
[ QUOTE ]
Would it make any sense to stop challenging bigger stacks, and bully the small stacks into the final table?
[/ QUOTE ]
No.

Re: $10 MTT Party Poker 1st Hand - Right Call?
You really shouldn't need math to figure this one out, especially given the ranges you gave. Give him AA 80% of the time then maybe it might be worth looking at, but since you can never do that...

Re: push from the sb on the bubble question
Any read on the BB? I wouldn't need much of one to push here, but if I had a read that he was a maniac of some sort i'd fold. I'd often push this into any seemingly sane player.

Re: When is it a compulsory call ?
This is far from a mandatory call. First off in this situation you have FOUR live players to act after you who could re-raise meaning you won't actually end up getting the odds you thought you were...

Re: What\'s your pushing range here?
Hey, i was sitting at this table.
Ended up busting 245th (220 was ITM) when my AK lost to JJ.
Anyways to answer the question, with someone already raising in front I'm probably pushing 88+,...

Re: Your Saw Flop%
[ QUOTE ]
Hmmm, I truly believe the percentage should change over the course of a MTT.
At the early levels when the stacks are deep or close to deep I force myself to see flop with a wide range...

Re: Three hands vs. same player, Super Monday
Hand 1: I'd bet the turn. And check-call what is hopefully not a big bet on the river if I got called on the turn. If it is sizable I'd probably check-fold the river.
Hand 2: I put him on a draw...

The BB... the imaginary player with a big stack who we have a read on, a read you're purposely ignoring.. why? Apparently you find...

I am certain I have no fold equity here. The bb is getting 2.25:1 on a call which translates to the need to have 30% equity. So he would be justified in calling...

Re: How You Are Eliminated: What Does It Say?
The emphasis most people put on their elimination hands as compared to other hands is already so exaggerated that I have to say it's much less important than most think. No one needs to convince...

Re: final table hands vs. LAG
I assume both re-raises are all-in. not that it really matters.
Hand 1: I think 40K is too big a raise here if you're planning on folding to a re-raise. My standard raise here is about 20-24K. If...

If the BB folds here, he is an absolutely atrocious poker player.

I agree, but I see big stacks folding in similar spots often. They're usually not THIS big, but still....
