Re: Super Thin River Value Bet ?
Tough spot. I'm checking and calling 1 bet, but not overcalling. It's hard to believe that the BB is coldcalling 2 without a flushdraw/Ten/OESD. All of those beat you on the river. If BB was...

Re: Top pair turn raise
Raise preflop. You want the ability to take the pot down if he misses, which he will the majority of time. Plus, you'd rather he just fold his SB in future hands. But, if he knows you will rarely...

Re: turn bet issue against tag
I check-call the flop. The problem with betting is that MP is probably only raising hands that beat you and if he's beating you then you are crushed. Having the Button throw a 1 SB donation into...

Re: hand from Mugaaz
Calls. It's not looking good, but 10:1 is enough to call a donk bet from anyone.

Re: Bluffing with KQ
The difference is that KK is ahead of all the pocket pairs that he is checkraising, but KQ is behind those.

Re: Bluffing with KQ
Calling the flop CR and raising the turn seems the best way to fold this guy. It's more expensive but has more fold equity.
However, I really don't like this play as a standard play. I hate to...

Re: Raised on turn
You can't fold the turn because he can play AJ this way.
The river sucks but I'm still calling getting 14:1.

Re: intresting hands (3 of them)
Hand 1: I don't know. I think I call. There is too good a chance that you get 3-bet if you raise and then you can't be sure if you are being 3-bet by a Ten or by a flush, so you almost have to call...

Re: ... so I took my ball and went home - 88
The chances that one of them has an Ace or Jack is pretty high. Plus, if they are calling that flop then they are calling the turn with whatever draw they might be on. So, if you aren't already...

Re: 10/20 Hand
I call the turn raise and checkraise any non-Ten river. Your turn 3-bet will fold him if he's on air, but he'll generally fire again on the river with air if you just call. He's always raising the...

Re: its 2pm and I still havent eaten breakfast
I just call. What makes you think that you need to fold UTG? Does the button call your CR with a worse Ace? I'm not really seeing any benefit to raising here. The pot seems to small to try and...

Re: T6s in the BB
Fold this preflop. You only want to defend this in a blind-stealing situation. A PFR from UTG in a 6-handed game doesn't qualify as blind-stealing.

Re: Bizarre 6 max hand
I'd raise preflop, but completing is OK.
After they all coldcall your flop CR (which was good), I would be prepared to check-fold the turn unless I improved.
Since I improved to double gutshot...

Re: Turn in Multiway hand with TT
Raise the turn. You might clean up some T outs. Worse case scenario is that you get 3-bet and there are only 2 opponents, but that doesn't really cost that much because your equity is still decent....

Re: Hand...
I don't think it really matters much if you call down or fold. Unlike Dane, I think he cool-calls a lot of Kings from the SB when you raise from MP. If your raise came from the Button than I would...

Re: Valuebetting again...
I fold the flop. When SB checkraises and someone coldcalls the checkraise on a paired board with no draw possibilities then you are behind 98% of the time and drawing to 2 outs.

Re: 1/2 AQs a little new to this limit thing...
I'd bet the flop and raise the turn.
BTW, at lower limits I will normally bet this flop because you are rarely getting CRed and your flop bet will generally give you a free ride to the river. ...
