Re: Two pair gone bad
Well, that sucks.
I was gonna advocate a turn bet, but that doesn't accomplish anything since you are almost always folding to a raise. I would call if it was 1 bet back to me, but a bet and a...

Re: Pocket TT

I was afraid of the turn card, but I still didn't know if I was ahead or behind. For all I knew UTG was drawing to an inside STR8 (AXs) but the turn didn't help him and MP1 could have had...

Re: Pocket TT
No one that you want to fold is folding for 1 bet on the turn after that flop action. The most likely holdings for your opponents are a weak jack (never folding), a flush draw (which you are now...

Re: Pocket TT
This is tough without reads, but MP1 could be betting a draw or a smaller pocket pair. I agree that you should raise or fold, and raising is reasonable on the flop. Folding is ok too without a read....

Re: 99 - (Content????)
I don't get the check/call on the turn. Were you folding the river "UI" (where in this case you "improved" to a flush)? Were you afraid TAG CO was tricky enough to bluff/raise the turn?
Otherwise,...

Re: I raise A9s on BB with 3 limpers. Correct?
Don't post results, even in white.
Preflop, i'm always raising ATs here, so raising A9s can't be that bad. Without some specific reads, though, i'm just checking and seeing a flop.
On the turn,...

Re: 88 unimproved HU (1/2 on stars)
Nh.
With UI overs, i'm more inclined to check behind on the turn and possibly induce a bluff (while also taking another shot at my 6 outs). With a made hand, you have to bet again.
Also, i'm...

Lame river card, but I think the flop 3-bet might have gotten the straight draw out of this pot.

No one who was calling 2 on the flop is going to fold for 3.

Re: Huge pot
Why did you just call the flop? 3-bet unless you have a plan or a read on UTG that he's only capping with AA.
Cap that turn all day long.
Wow, the river sucks. Good fold.

You're a tricky bastard /images/graemlins/smile.gif.
I don't get the flop c/r followed by turn c/c. Did you think he would fold QQ/JJ/TT and 3-bet with AA/KK? I can't figure it out.
