Re: Switch to Budweiser
One of the most famous beer advertising campaigns of all time was a Budweiser promotion from the 1950's. It was called 'The Budweiser Five Day Test"

Re: rankin those crappy american lights
Try Budweiser select. You'll be suprised. It has a very crisp flavor and a very clean finish. Once you've given it a try and then go back to Miller Lite you will probably find Lite's aftertaste to...

Coors is owned by Molson from Canada (they merged and over 50% of the company is Canadian owned). The majority of the profits go to Canada.

Switch to Budweiser
That's why they are getting rid of it!!! Besides being a mediocre excuse for a malt beverage, this once proud american company is now a wholy owned division of South African Brewers.

Re: Foxwoods- Two Trees Inn
Two trees is a good brisk walk from the poker room. It is on the same side of the resort as the poker room. The shuttle drops you at the nearest entrance from the room.
The funny thing is that...

And that is in a room with 100 tables!
Funny how the Mohegan Sun is convinced there is not enough action in Connecticut to warrant two poker rooms.

I played there not too long ago
The games at the Holiday Inn (Excelsior) and Radisson are the best. They supposedly had poker in a casino at the other end of the hotels but they never had any action the two times I tried.
Of...

I played with him at Foxwoods
We were in a $240 shootout. He played well (well, better than I did). He was very personal, and never got upset by the people coming by for autographs (even when he was in a hand, he just asked...

Re: Foxwoods Dealing Jobs
Why do you think Foxwoods is run poorly? It's run way better than the Mohegan Sun's room was. I've played at a dozen other card rooms including Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
In my opinion, the...

Foxwoods is pretty close
I am not sure how far it is to Turning Stone, but Foxwoods is just up the turnpike probably an hour and a half away. There are busses that run in and out of Foxwoods all day and night. The room is...

Re: Moneymaker vs Raymer for PS commercials
I think he does play, but you don't see him because he busts out very early.
I don't think he's as bad a player as most people assume. He caught a ton of lucky cards in the big one, but has...

If you are so confident in your read that the UG +1 is not capable of a check raise bluff on the river, then fold.
He just check raised you on the river.
Personally, I'd pay him off.

Checking out is wrong
If there are three people in the hand and you are second to bet on the river and you check out, then the third person is given an invitation to bluff at the pot.
In the worst case, if your ten...

You can't fault yourself for acting in the moment. I don't blame you one bit for handling it exactly like you did and I don't think I could have done better in the heat of the moment.
If you (we)...

She also has a killer body and doesn't mind showing cleavage. I find it insulting that you think that someone could possible succeed in the poker world with just a pretty face.
