Re: Help -- Am I trapped?

When to fold the overpairs?
I was looking through my database at my biggest losing/winning hands...
A very large % of the losing hands are quite simply hands I cannot and probably will not ever be able to get away from. Set v...

Re: Party NL100 compared to NL200?
[ QUOTE ]
I'd avoid moving til you've been thru at least your planned number of hands. Handling a 6 buyin downswing at 200NL is hard (being $1200) but somehow at 100NL it seems manageable. I have...

Party NL100 compared to NL200?
Well I started playing NL on tuesday... I've put in like...15k hands since then... This has been an absolute cakewalk. 15%vpip nut peddling + stabbing at passive pots has returned me 5-6PTBB/100 I...

Re: How bad is variance?
[ QUOTE ]
Why not? Limit and NL players can easily compute their BB per hour.
[/ QUOTE ]

Re: How bad is variance?
You cant really look at variance that way.... No way can you compare 5/10 limit to 5/10 NL or anything.
The best you can really do is look at a variance:profitability ratio.
I'm 90% sure NL...

Re: How bad is variance?
the 20x buyin idea is based on a full buyin. It is pretty obvious that there will be much more variance (buyins/hands) with a 5$ buyin than there will be with a 25$ buyin. The BB/hand variance will...
