Turn raise for value with 12 outs and trying to get SB to fold a better A?
[/ QUOTE ]
there's no value in the turn raise if I never hold the best hand going to the river. I'm trying...

Re: For your consideration
[ QUOTE ]
i think this is a flop fold. sb's pfr% is not that high... so usually either your 7 or your A is dominated. to me, it looks like you have some reverse implied odds on your pair outs, and...

For your consideration
SB is pretty typical PF (30/11) w/ some aggressive tendencies (2.5 AF). He hasn't done anything unexpected yet given his stats after about six orbits.
BB is on the maniacal side (70/33/2.5) after...

Re: Free Card Play - Wrong spot ??
i'd call the flop.
sometimes they'll be afraid of a slowplay and check the turn anyway. othertimes the turn card will completely kill your draw and you'd prefer not to have committed to the river.

Re: ATo preflop - I have no idea

Yeah, this is interesting. I was also thinking, how happy are we about our BDSD? We will not likely be able to call a turn bet anyways.

Re: ATo preflop - I have no idea
regardless of what you think he should do preflop, many of you are not considering the fact that this is 8-handed and he is closer to the button than a 10-handed UTG+1.
also, draws to pairs and...

OK, the results. For the most part, you guys did pretty good. I had a red JJ, and Iggie had QQ with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. BB mucked what he said was a lower diamond, and MHIG....

Wow. This hand kind of sucks. I want to bet the turn for info, but that's useless, and I'd like to find a fold, but given your reads, I think I play it the same way. I'm just not folding...

Re: Hand reading from the live 2+2 table
you probably have KK/images/graemlins/diamond.gif while he had QQ/JJ with a diamond. I don't think he should bet the flop without a pair or flush draw which leaves a pair for his holding. If he had...

Re: overcall?
i'd call. you almost always have MP2 beat and MP1's hand hasn't been defined clearly yet. J9/QJ from MP1 is still possible.

Re: One hand, Two turns.
I'd probably fold the river. Button looks like he has an overpair while MP will also have you beat on occasion.
Turn call looks fine.

Re: do big aces pay me off here?
I don't like the river raise. He isn't folding a better hand and Ace high probably isn't calling you... so you are putting him on 44/55/A-paired-x that will payoff?
