Re: Bonus Paranoia?
I do worse at Stars when I deposit for a bonus, then if I deposit without a bonus.
I do believe Stars is rigged, and I am not playing there anymore.
I believe they rig it in favor of newer...

Re: Rules Differences at Online Poker Rooms
Some sites let you skip the big blind if a player busts out and others don't.
Auto-post blind works different on different sites, if you are just joining the table.
If you bust out, some sites...

Re: Pstars FPP musings
[ QUOTE ]
You have to factor in that Stars rake is markedly lower than Absolute, UB, and wherever else you can get rakeback.
[/ QUOTE ]
For no-limit the rake is the same at all of those...

Re: Rank your preferred sites and bonuses here.
1. UB
2. Full Tilt
3. Stars
4. Absolute
5. Party
6. Paradise/Pacific/Empire and other bad sites.
Unfortunately I have used up my bonuses at all these places. I guess I will have to find...

Re: Standard?
I check behind on the river here.
You can't risk him doing something strange like check raising KJ here.
Your bet gets you $10 when he calls, but loses a $25 pot if he does something strange or...

Re: Application of the overbet?
Bet $5, so he will call you with an ace.
He doesn't seem to have anything. Plus if he is a real moron he may raise you with nothing.

Re: bad playing or bad cards?
Both.
Preflop, raise or fold with KJs. Open limping in early position is bad IMO.
Flop is fine, but another possible line is to make a smaller bet for a multiway pot with your draw, but you...

the NL players at Absolute are horrible
They are completely overaggressive with garbage, and call huge reraises preflop with junk like KQo.
Just FYI.
I am used to playing semi-normal people at FT and UB.

Re: I hate AK....
There are two players to act after you on the flop.
You played it fine, missed the flop and only lost $3 getting great odds on your money for when you hit your hand, with all the loose players...

Re: $5NL - Check Up Hand
fine.
You want to protect your hand against something like JT, which if it calls you has 9 outs. You also want to protect against flush draws, 8 outs.

Re: AA runs into trouble
I would not be betting so much on the turn and river.
KQ and JT are both likely holdings that have you dominated.
Then on the river, the flush card comes and you are still betting big, which I...

Re: My first 10/20 session
1. Fold preflop.
2. I like.
3. I like.
4. I would bet the turn. (What if he has a set or AK or anything then another diamond comes on the river, you don't make any money)
